"Flying Hills’ maintenance often does not reply to requests for months but will charge you a fee if you need assistance during “off hours.” I spent months without closet doors and, when asked what I could do to keep the issue from happening, they replied nothing, the tracks and doors should have be replaced before, but doors were left off and no one replaced or repaired them. My refrigerator broke during Thanksgiving and a whole fridge of food spoiled. This is not covered under most renters’ insurance, including mine. They chose to repair, after a week without fridge, and it broke again over Christmas. I lost more food. The whole ordeal cost me hundreds of dollars, all of which went uncompensated. The pathways were cracking and crumbling leading over a rocky ravine. This went months before being repaired. Noise is often an issue as the steps outside the apartments are loud and walls are thin. You can hear your neighbors bathroom while in your bathroom. There are constantly millipedes roaming. Lights outside the units go dark and unreplaced. On the flip side, what is required of tenants is excessive including a non refundable large deposit at move in and a hawklike attention to water valves supplying the tenant owned washers. I wouldn’t live here again."

"Crazy to me the amount of negative reviews here. I have had nothing short of an amazing experience since I started living here over a year ago. I’ve loved it so much that I purchased a home in this community as well. Linda has been a PLEASURE every single time I have spoken with her. My unit was gorgeous, and there were no issues whatsoever for 15+ months. Super affordable, high quality appliances, and month to month renting after a year… what more could you ask for? Love this place."

"This is you’re best bet to rent in the area. It is affordable and much more maintained than surrounding rental properties. Staff and maintenance are friendly and helpful, although there are problems with mold and insects that require upkeep to prevent. Overall, Flying Hills was very good to me as a tenant and would recommend to anyone looking to rent in the area as it is a very nice community."

"Great place to live. Just far enough from the city to hear the birds sing but not too far away to go grocery shopping, car wash , etc. Loved my time living there. Staff was always available and helpful with any questions that came up . IF there was ever was a need for a work order on the apartment; the turnaround time was fast. Plenty of space to walk / run around the property . Pool area is big enough and even has servers for food & drinks ! When looking at all the factors : cost, location, amenities, and service.... Flying Hills is hard to top."
