"The rooms are nicely furnished but our quilt was ripped to shreds with visible orange stains all over. The temperature would also not increase from 67 degrees despite setting the thermostat to 74. Also, don’t get me started on the noise! My husband booked the stay without reading reviews stating it was above a bar that’s open until 2am. It’s currently 1am and music is blaring & people have been screaming nonstop for the past 1 1/2 hours. Our room is shaking. If noise bothers you, stay far, far away. I have my phone volume all the way up with fan noises & can still hear the noises from below."

"NOISY- my room was shaking from the blasting music at the bar directly underneath my room. Well after midnight on a Wednesday night. Literally had to “check in” at the bar and this detail is NOT mentioned anywhere on their website. I live in NYC and am no stranger to city sounds. While the bar staff were all extremely kind, you would think they would also be mindful of the guests upstairs. Aside from the ridiculously uncomfortable and unnecessary music on a weekday past any reasonable quiet hours, the room was clean and spacious and comfortable. Could have easily been 5 stars but giving this 2 stars for the noise."

"Perfect experience staying here. Great, central location; tastefully decorated, well-appointed room; superiorly comfortable bed; nice towels and sheets; good mini fridge, safe, and bottles of water in the closet; and friendly folks at check-in at the bar downstairs. It all felt very European to me…a beautiful boutique hotel being above a small neighborhood bar in such a central location. You’ll hear the typical sounds of the city below, so if you’re not used to that, you may want to bring ear plugs or pick some up at Walgreens a block away - it’s no big deal. Looking forward to my next stay on beautiful Camac Street!"

"The room was nice but the sheets and towels seemed dirty or just alot of stains on them found a finger nail on the floor and hair all over the bathroom the shower had no hot water and the air didn't work it was 78 in our room. Staff was friendly and helpful drinks at the Ubar actually had alcohol in them so that's nice food don't waste your money! Best part 3 am foot traffic looking out our windows"
