Lokal Hotel Fishtown 1421 North Front Street, Philadelphia, PA 19122

"We rented out the Lokal Hotel, Fishtown, for a wedding and cannot say enough good things about it. We had every room, so it was awesome to jump from room to room. The rooms are fully equipped from fridges to robes, to earplugs/sleepmasks to black out shades and coffee. There was signage around the room and a very detailed leather-bound book that walked you through all the information for the room and hotel. Some might wonder about the train that passes through. If you are on the front of the building you will here a low rumble and while often, it's quick and not terribly loud. If you are on the back, you'll still hear a low rumble, but coming from two light sleepers - it was not bad. Honestly, an incredible incredible hotel. Some of the rooms had some very minor maintenance issues. Our room (second floor on left) had some sort of water issue on the floor as you entered the bathroom. It did not impact our stay, but I think the hotel would benefit from a 'leave a review' box in each room so that the owners know if there are problems pertaining to each room. This leak(?) could potentially affect other rooms/flooring, etc. Other than this very minor issue, the stay and hotel were 10/10."

"I have to say that this place far exceeded my expectations. The invisible service was seemless, great location in walking distance from restaurants, quiet and safe neighborhood. Parking was close, but I was able to get street parking at the closest corner. I loved that the room had every think I need which almost made me feel right at home. Very clean, cozy and comfortable. I would certainly stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a place for a weekend or even just an evening."

"The Lokal was perfect for our family of 4. We stayed in the Big Jawn room and there was more than enough space. Enjoyed the feel of an apartment vs hotel room. Definitely would recommend. Great neighborhood as well for food and coffee in the morning."

"Lokal Hotel Fishtown was in the perfect location for our trip to Philly! The neighborhood was really lovely. Lots of cute houses, great restaurants, and lots of things to do within walking distance. The hotel itself was really convenient and secure. We stayed in the Garden Jawn room off of the courtyard. The entrance isn’t obvious which is nice and the courtyard is tucked back behind the building so isn’t visible from the street. The room was very comfortable and nicely designed. It had everything we needed for our short stay. The room was quiet for being in the city, had lots of natural light (with shades to block it out/for privacy), and a nice view. Highly recommend!"

"Fantastic! We stayed here overnight for an event at the Brooklyn Bowl. The room (My Jawn #4) was perfect. The kitchen was super equipped with everything, it was clean and comfortable with nice amenities. Also, easy access and very walkable to Fishtown and it’s great dining. Pizzeria Beddia was only a 3 minute walk. Access to the room was seamless, having received the full instructions by email ahead of time. They’re serious about quiet hours 9-7, which we appreciated and everyone respected. The noise from the EL wasn’t bad on the courtyard side. We parked around the corner in a newer lot and it was only $15 for the night. All in all I would stay again anytime, great experience."
