"I was in the market for a remote start kit for my 2014 Ford Mustang. I had done some research on the VIPER kit that comes with installation. This store showed one in stock a few weeks ago, so I went there to get it. Once we got there, we were told we'd need to set up an appointment for the installation. Fair enough. Everyone's schedules are backed up. So I scheduled an appointment for the following weekend and ordered the kit for same-day pick-up as the install, since it was not in-store as listed online. Please keep in mind I paid in-full that day. Later on, the day before my appt, the Geek Squad calls to confirm, but tells me I need two keys to complete the installation. Not their fault, but they said a salesperson was supposed to let me know that. I only had one key for my vehicle, since I purchased it used. So instead of going to my appointment, I went to my local dealer and had another key made. Rescheduled out for two weeks later. Fast forward to today, I arrive at my appointment and hand over the keys. They asked if I had the kit in the car and I let them know that I was told it would be in their pick-up orders area the day of install. Come to find out, it never got ordered and they had none in-store, again. Thankfully, they did have a COMPUSTAR system that the tech explained was comparable to the VIPER, minus a few features I wouldn't be using anyway. I agreed to just have that one installed, since I was a little exhausted from all the hassle trying to get this done. The installation worker explained that they'd be the same cost and work the same. Overall, the install guys were great. Took them about 3hrs to do, as expected. It works amazing and I couldn't be happier to have this done. Sales people, please let someone know what they'll need to have the install done and actually order merchandise when it's paid for to avoid all this back and forth in the future."
"Terrible service. Had no choice but to give a low star Google review to hopefully get their leadership’s attention. Would have preferred to discuss my issue and resolve it in store but they neither took ownership of the issue nor were customer focused to resolve it. So sad! Happy to share the details if any of the leadership team is interested to listen and act!"
"I never knew how unreliable Best Buy was until I actually gave them a chance. We are furious with our online ordering experience. We placed an order a week ago for two PCs that said it would be ready today. Today came and all day it said the order was being prepared to be picked up today like it said. Hours went by and nothing so we called and the lady on the phone confirmed they were at the store and had to go through some inspection process before pickup and told us it would be an hour and half to the next morning. A few more hours went by and we got an email saying they are delayed for the next few days. We needed answers and decided to drive to the store to get an actual answer. The employee at the store said the PCs were never even shipped out. We are extremely frustrated with how much Best Buy has wasted our time and ruining our week. How could it of been in a preparing status if they were never even there? We don't know who to believe and I definitely do not recommend Best Buy for online ordering with how unreliable they are throwing lies around and confusing people."
"The store is very understaffed. You guys need to hire with the upcoming holiday season. The customer service associate who assisted me the other was very kind, but seemed to not know how to process trade-in properly. I was in the store almost 2 hrs to just trade in some tech firms just for the manager on so duty today say 2 of items were not in the system. Which was wrong because I was able to trade in online by mail. Best buy customer service has gone down hill. But increasing their prices. Their total tech program has been changed twice and a lot of the benefits are gone. They only thing it's good for, is the warranty on your products."
"Always great service. I highly encourage anyone who buys lots of electronics to get the total tech protection plans. Unfortunately it doesnt seem like electronics last as long or perform as well as intended. The protection plans allows for fixes and the possibility of in store exchange that the service center would determine. The plan does cover all items bought at best buy, ensure you get them registered under your account when you buy more."
