In 2012, The Hilltoss was born out of student input and has since become a popular dining spot on campus. The Hilltoss includes Grounded, a coffee shop serving a variety of coffee and tea drinks, as well as breakfast toasts and bagel sandwiches. More Uncommon Grounds (MUG) opened in 1999, providing a selection of pastries, coffee, espresso drinks, cold sandwiches, and salads in the ICC Galleria.
The Midnight Mug, The Corp's largest coffee service, caters to students and professors at Lauinger Library with a diverse menu of seasonal specials. Open late every school night and even later during finals, Midnight Mug has been a staple for those in need of a caffeine boost since 2003.
Uncommon Grounds (UG) offers traditional coffee, lattes, teas, and pastries in a cozy coffeehouse setting. Hoya Snaxa, located in the Southwest Quad, is a convenient stop for coffee, snacks, sandwiches, and dorm essentials. Committed to the motto of "Students Serving Students," Hoya Snaxa serves the Georgetown University community on the south side of campus.

"First off, the name is very misleading. This so-called “midnight mug" is not open midnight. It's only open until 6pm. And the coffee came in a cup- not a mug. When I ordered a toasted bagel, they gave me a bagel, that was not sliced in half, and i had to toast it (with the inefficient toaster) and saw it in half (with the awful plastic knife). You also have to put the cream cheese on yourself. When you order a latte, they put way too much milk in it. The bagel was very mediocre. They were quick though and you can pay with FLEX dollars."
"Over the past two years, they changed the vendor for their coffee, so it tastes actually decent now instead of like crap, which is what it used to taste like. It's also open late on study nights which is convenient for library patrons, but of course, that means they can charge expensive cafe prices."
