"How does this woman make a living as a therapist? She is rude, impatient, and always seems to be chewing something when talking to me. She also doesn’t really help me with my problems at all. She spent our ENTIRE first session asking me intake questions - literally where I work and how old I am, etc… for insurance purposes. I don’t understand why she couldn’t just email me the forms to fill out before the session. When I asked her that, she said she was not good with computer (!!!). I was pretty stressed out, and she wasted 45 minutes of my time. I walked away from that session feeling even more stressed and frustrated than before. Then for the second session, she didn’t let me talk much, and made ridiculous recommendations about diets instead of saying anything helpful. She also didn’t understand what I said very well, and when she talked, I mostly heard chewing. I ended up cutting the session short. I had never done that in therapy before. But she was wasting my time and making me even more stressed and frustrated."

"Dr. Alexander is a great person, not only as a therapist but as a human being. She has an outstanding practical personality. She has a very well grounded sense of reality. She is a great leader and role model to follow. My daughter and I have learned a lot from her. Dr. Alexander has extensive knowledge gained through her multiple certifications and life itself. "This therapist is extremely rigid and doesn’t want to deal with insurance at all. This is challenging, since she also did not trust my assurances that we did have coverage. I even called our insurance company twice (at her request) to verify coverage. After her third request to verify our coverage, I refused. She did not appreciate the fact that I would not continually act as her administrative assistant, so she asked me to find a new therapist for my daughter. She may be a good therapist, but she clearly can’t handle the business logistics of her practice. Additionally, her office is covered with stuff- literally every surface is covered. While I felt my own daughter would be fine, kids with sensory sensitivities might be overwhelmed."
