"From scheduling to my appointment it was the most positive experience I’ve had getting imaging done. The woman at the front desk is both kind and incredibly efficient on the phone explaining everything. After being given a long list of options from my ortho it was clear I’d be going with Rayus after speaking with her. Furthermore they had so much availability compared to other local MRI clinics. Upon arrival the team was not only super kind, but the MRI was faster than I’ve ever experienced and I got to listen to music instead of the loud sound of the machine. An appointment I was dreading was enjoyable thanks to the team at Rayus. Also there is designated parking- just make sure you grab a pass from the front desk!"
"I really appreciated that Rayus could get me in for an MRI in 4 days instead of 4 weeks like the other places that I called. The office staff was kind on the phone, answered my questions and got things squared away with my insurance quickly. The procedure was done professionally and they got me my results on a CD within about 5 minutes. I was very happy with the experience. I especially appreciated the cheerful office staff, that is a rare thing to find in a medical office these days."
"This is the second time I’ve been here. I first had an MRI 13 years ago when the company was called Insight. They tried to force me to pay $500 back then before even allowing me to do an MRI. It took 3 weeks of my insurance calling Insight and INSTRUCTING them to do the MRI! Tonight, I’ve been sitting here for 2 hours. My appointment time came and went. While sitting here I have witnessed the front office supervisor DENY a patient his CD of his MRI because he had an outstanding balance of $170. I think that’s against the law? The woman straight up told him that she *may* send the CD and report to the doctor but will see how she feels in the morning but that the patient WILL NOT get his CD tonight!! The front office supervisor tried to give me attitude because I was in the same area as the patient being denied his medical records! I told this patient that IMO this has been the same way for 13 years. The Front office supervisor eventually gave over the patients CD, making sure to drop the CD on the desk and walk away(the entire time she was speaking to the patient she had an aide about her as if he wasn’t worth her time) The front desk supervisor said to me”you can choose to go if we’re so bad” in a tone dripping with sarcasm and spite! I have to get the MRI done soon and clearly this place had openings because people prefer to book with companies that DON’T try to swindle you out of more money… I made sure to ask upfront if there was a copay that needed to be paid. I have been here before and this place is good at either overcharging or not sending you a bill and going straight to collections!"
"They were able to get me an appointment within a week and processed all my insurance in advance. Dedicated parking spots with a pass made it easy to park. I’m a larger patient so the open MRI was great as well as comfortable gown and changing room. Dante the tech was great. I also liked the music and headphones instead of earplugs. Gentleman at front desk was very polite, more so than scheduler on the phone."
"This place was actually awesome. I called a bunch of other places around the area and they couldn't get me in for a month. They were able to get me in within 2 days. The waiting room was nice (and had coffee and comfortable chairs), the front desk people were super helpful, the online check-in process was easy, and they gave me earplugs. Even the parking situation some of the reviews were complaining about wasn't true. They have passes and dedicated parking spots. The location is conveniently right off 395. If you look at the reviews the common theme seems to be patients not understanding how their insurance works, what an MRI is like, or where to park. I also never encountered anyone rude, from the front desk staff, or the people on the phone. Plus, they ran my insurance ahead of time so I knew exactly what my co-insurance would be. Then they quickly created a CD of the results so I could leave within 5 minutes of the MRI being done. I am so glad I ended up going here. The only "rude" people in the situation were the other places like Reston Radiology that acted like waiting a month for possibly severe acute health issue was completely normal."
