"I am beyond embarrassed, upset, and disappointed because my partner and I were humiliated by an fake accusation their supervisor made of us yesterday November 19th,2023 Potomac mall Woodbridge Va. I’m not sure if it was because we belong to the lgbtq group, are hispanic, or because my partner has tattoos. We walked in to make a purchase, as we were looking for what we wanted my partner’s bag fell and her things fell down as well, after she put her things back in her bag, all of the sudden their supervisor came up to her and in a affirmative tone he straight up told her that he “knew” what she had stolen and was calling the police and security department immediately. He didn’t even asked if he could take a look at what we had before proceeding to calling the police, or even checked the cameras himself. The security and police department came and asked for our identifications as if we had actually stolen. We were being watched by all of the other customers in and out the store which made us feel very embarrassed and humiliated because without having concrete proof of what that man said, we were treated horrible. After the cameras were seen, and we showed all of our belongings, it was proven that none of what that supervisor said was true, we did not receive an apology from him or the other staff, he did not show his face after that, and just said to the police officer he just didn’t want us at the store. I cannot express how horrible this was. We weren’t rude, or disrespectful in any circumstance even after the humiliation, we cooperated with everything we were asked to do.I was very upset, and uncomfortable, my partner could not stop crying for being treated so unfairly, specially for not receiving an apology for his mistake."

"This place SUCKS. I walked in there with my older and younger cousins. I was going to go to the back to purchase a personal item and my older cousins said that they would distract my younger so that I could buy the item without them knowing. Within two seconds of walking to the back I was yelled at infront of everyone in the store “IF YOURE UNDER 18 YOURE NOT ALLOWED IN THE BACK”. I am under 18, but I would like someone to show me the rule that says that I cannot buy a personal item for myself. When I look it up all the sources say that there are no age limits. I was not horseplaying, I was not being obnoxious at all. I was only in the store for about 15 seconds when I was rudely humiliated. If you are expecting kind and welcoming customer service, this is the exact opposite."

"Our family visited this location today. We were assisted by Denice, who thoroughly showed us all the items we wished to see. She was professional and kind and super knowledgeable about the merchandise. She was very knowledgeable and because of her we will be happy to shop here again."

"Unfortunately customer service is bad. They dont explain abt returns. Spencer's in Springfield mall doesn't care if you buy or not.i try to return after 2 minutes later If you try to return something, they do not accept, also they dont have any signs to return police. Very sad,I do not recommend at all.That’s bad service. Items fall apart very quickly,high price,for cheap items .ZERO STAR"
