"Rigid product. Rigid Customer service. Rigid CEO. I bought, through a relative as the bra was unavailable where I live, four Silkee minimiser bras this year in two different sizes (one size apart) as I tend to fluctuate in size. I wore two and put away two for future wear. I wore the smaller size with no issue but, over time, I noticed that when I wore the larger size I got considerable shoulder pain and started to develop shoulder indents. Quite by chance I discovered that the shoulder straps on the bras were of different fabric. The Med DDD which was comfortable had the normal type stretch straps, however the Med E had cotton type straps with absolutely zero flexibility. I have worn a lot of different makes and models of bra over my life and have never seen straps like this. As time went on I actually couldn't bear to wear the bra as the shoulder pain was considerable and the indents unsightly. My partner contacted Shapeez on my behalf to offer this feedback and asked if they would exchange the bra for one with flexible straps, given there was no reference to this on their site. Note: At no point did I/we ask for, or expect, a refund as we are reasonable people and understand that on occasions a simple product exchange is all that is required. On contacting customer service the CEO Staci was immediately involved and dismissive of the issue and cited the Shapeez 30 day online return policy rule. Interestingly, the CEO Staci acknowledged via email the bras inconsistency and stated that she thought Shapeez would be discontinuing the rigid straps. Assuming this was an admission of poor quality and a flaw in the product I reasonably thought Shapeez would exchange my bra. This was not to be. As a CEO, Staci seems incapable of exercising normal CEO discretion to address a flawed product, an unhappy customer in discomfort as a result of wearing her product, preferring to hide behind (her own) return policy. I would expect that any experienced CEO who involves themselves at this micro level of the business would inherently understand that important satisfied and happy customers are the future success of their business. If I could award zero stars for this review I would."
"Buyer Beware! My partner was a loyal Shapeez customer and initially a fan of the Silkee bra. When a person buys a bra and is promised comfort all day, what else could one reasonably expect? Well, one could reasonably expect a bra, like the Silkee, that is consistently manufactured and where every single bra provides the promised comfort. Unfortunately, what you can expect from Shapeez is a gamble depending on the bra size you choose. Some Silkee sizes are manufactured as per description and photos on the Shapeez website with flexible comfortable straps. Others are not! Some Silkee sizes have rigid shoulder straps that 'dig in' and cause significant shoulder pain and discomfort. Customer focused, caring, responsible companies value customers. They describe their products accurately online, and provide accurate photos of their products. Not so Shapeez!! Shapeez swap advertised flexible comfortable shoulder straps for certain sizes with rigid painful shoulder straps for other sizes but fail to tell their customers when purchasing. My partner bought four Silkee bras of slightly different sizes (Medium DDD and Medium E). She reasonably expected the Silkee bras to be of the same quality and comfort. She recently experienced significant shoulder pain after wearing one of her new bras. Thinking a simple shoulder strap adjustment was needed to mitigate the discomfort, she realised on closer examination that two Silkee bras had rigid straps and two had flexible straps. The rigid straps were the cause of her pain and discomfort. On communicating several times with Shapeez, and to our surprise, there was no acknowledgement by the Shapeez CEO Staci Berner, of the pain and discomfort experienced by my partner due to the different shoulder straps. Furthermore, the CEO refused to exchange the unused bra. Why? The difference in the shoulder straps was only discovered by my partner outside the 30 day Shapeez exchange rule! Shapeez don't care about customer pain caused by their different manufacturing design, nor the significant cost of their products, nor did they welcome or acknowledge my partner's feedback. It's all about money and a 30 day rule at the "rigid" Shapeez bra company. They take your money and if you fail to notice their change in product material within their rigid 30 day rule, it's your loss. Buy an expensive bra from Shapeez but it's a gamble what quality of bra you get!!!"
