"We came in to the store on a cold evening, a few hours before closing. I felt bad because it was freezing outside and it was the perfect day to curl up by the fire place with some hot chocolate. However, i needed some shoes for my tired nurse feet and i heard Fleet Feet were the best because they measure your feet for the perfect shoes. During our long visit, we were helped by Bernard. He kindly answered a million of our questions, provided prompt feedback and was very knowledgeable. My fiancé who was just there for moral support ended up buying a new pair of sneakers too. "Pitiful customer service. Two customers with their kids were enough to overwhelm what we thought was the lone clerk. A second clerk grudgingly appeared after we sat for about 5 minutes. The extent of his "service" was to hand me a shoe. Couldn't be bothered measuring, fitting, or even lacing the shoe, despite being told about my difficulty finding comfortable footwear. He could see I am a senior with flexibility issues. Staring out the window, he was more focused on whatever was going on outside. Apparently you have to fit their target audience to be treated like a valued customer."

He greeted me and led me to two scanners that measured the dimensions of my feet and provided him with an idea of how my gait tracked. He brought out several options that he thought would work and then expertly and patiently answered all my questions. This location was an hour and a half from where I lived but I decided to make the trek there because of their excellent reviews and I'm so happy I did.
