"Good view of the city, great location, nice and clean rooms. I did not run into any issues during my stay. My room was very quiet despite the hotel being located so centrally to many attractions."
"I love this hotel, for the price im shocked at how nice the interior and rooms are honestly. Its in a good area too. The service at the front desk is always fast and kind. They upgraded us just for stay here twice. Only complaint is that the online check in doesn’t work and they make you pay almost $60 a night for parking as a guest!!!"
"The hotel is on a great location. It is near the center of the city and therefore many of the best attractions are walking distance if you don’t mind a 15-20 minute walk. Plus those walks are a great was to experience the city. There are also plenty of good restaurants in walking distance to the hotel as well. The hotel is a few years old and is in great shape and is very clean. Now for the downside: The bathroom is a split bathroom with the toilet on left side of the room and the sink and shower on the right side across an interior hall. If you go to the toilet you need to leave the toilet area to wash your hands. Also there is no privacy on the shower side of the bathroom because there is no door there. We were woken up each day between 4:00 and 4:30 AM because there was garbage collection and the noise was unbearable Dumpsters were crashing everywhere. . I have lived in NYC my whole life so I can sleep through most things but this was a different level of noise. The hotel is down a small side street and the views are terrible. Our room overlooked a back alley (apparently where the dumpsters are stored) and you can’t see any of the city. We had a problem with the TV and called down to the front desk to see if they could reset it. The front desk asked if we wanted them to send someone up and I declined. My kids were already in bed and my wife was in her pajamas. The desk still sent someone up anyway which was disturbing to my kids sleep. There are many other comparable hotels in the area. I would certainly stay at a different hotel on my next trip to Philly."
"do not stay here unless you’re expected to pay a lot of money for an okay experience.. $60 VALET ONLY parking for hotel guest?? also $75 additional deposit EVERY NIGHT you stay which is not stated when you place your booking. There’s 0 street parking to even load or unload your car. Very hectic and stressful just to get in and out. Also no doors on the shower room?? Luckily I stayed with my girlfriend but if I was with family? hell no. The only trash can is the toilet trashcan. Breakfast is $25 per person? This hotel must be for the rich. The hotel is nice, looks fancy, but for how expensive the place is, I would expect there to be some complimentary amenities or something to make our stay better than your average hotel. No free waters, snacks, etc. Eat the rich, feed the poor."
"This is by far the best Hyatt in Philadelphia. (I have stayed in pretty much all of them) and one of the my favorite hotels in general. The location is right in Center City; close to offices and restaurants so it is perfect for leisure travelers or work travelers. What I think what makes this hotel standout is the furniture and decor. The room configuration/furniture is so well thought out. The bed was so comfortable. The charging stations by the bed are plentiful and made it so easy to keep everything charged. There was a small couch/table which was the perfect size to eat take-out (This was huge so you don't have to eat it at the desk or on the bed). There is designated storage for your luggage so I could open it and not move it for the rest of your stay. There are hooks for coats and bags. The bathroom is enclosed on one side. The shower was big and had a little foot bar to make it easier to shave. All these little touches made it such an easy and convenient place to stay. I was actually sad to leave."
