"I hired this company on 4/25/20. I went with Custom TV Mounting because I was looking for a professional company to mount a brand new LG 50 inch TV I received for my birthday. I have a 15 month old and wanted to ensure it was mounted properly so I was willing to pay a bit more. Unfortunately I received a botched up job for a high price. Derrick installed the TV into the drywall and hid the wires. It looked great from the front but I did not realize until a week later that the wall mount in the back was covering 3 of the TVs outputs. I purchased a much needed Bluetooth transmitter that has an optical cable but could not get it into the TV since the wall mount was installed covering the holes. When I saw the issue I was a bit shocked because Derrick claimed to have years of experience and he left us with this botched installation. I called him and expected that we could easily resolve the problem and he could come back out to adjust the installation. At first he seemed easy going about it and then his temperament changed and he had the audacity to demand an additional $50.00. I told him that was very unprofessional and there was absolutely no reason for us to pay him anymore money to fix the mistake so he finally agreed to come out the next morning at 11am free of charge. Well 11am rolled by and he was a no show so at 12pm my husband called him. Derrick lied and said his colleague was running late and they would be there in an hour. Well he never showed up and blocked my number so I could not get in touch with him. He never had the courtesy to contact us to say he was not coming at all. Please I am warning you not to hire Custom TV Mounting as you may end up with a botched installation and then they will lie about coming out to fix it. Terrible workmanship and unprofessional company. Take this warning and choose someone else."
