"I loved living here. After a good amount of research around NoMa, Belgard came out on top with great reviews and (at least for the year I was there) the staff was very responsive, and the amenities and common areas were very new and clean. I’d recommend this place to anyone, especially after seeing where friends live around DC, with a few disclaimers: The NoMa area is getting just as expensive as other popular areas of DC BUT has not yet built the community to match those expectations. You’re really paying for newer buildings and a location that isn’t on the edges of DC but not an extremely popular area. The area where Belgard is located in NoMa is near the metro and is convenient within the area but do just be aware that NoMa is changing with construction… And generally, when dealing with corporate owned property managed apartment buildings, just be aware that their objective is maximize revenue and so be prepared for rent increases and fees on top of rent (amenities and utilities) which are fairly standard if you’re looking at this type of property"

"I’ve been a resident of The Belgard since 2019 and the one thing I will say is that the Maintenance team is always on point! Axel did a great job servicing my apartment this month and in the past, he is professional, detail-oriented, friendly and gets the job done. Shout out to Brittney as well, who is truly doing an outstanding job stepping up as Property Manager over the past 2 months! LaShan"

"This is my third year living at the Belgard and I have truly enjoyed it. Staff are always friendly and I am greeted every time I enter the building. Whenever I have a maintenance issue it is quickly worked on and resolved. Axel who recently worked on my bathroom sink was polite, professional, and worked diligently to fix my issue. He even wiped down the entire area after he was finished and I appreciated the attention to detail!"
