"Overall not a fan of their leasing office/commitment to their tenants or prospective tenants. They ignore calls, emails, etc. For a building that promotes luxury and top tier services/amenities, it's kind of ridiculous they can't manage to follow up or show up for a tour. It's a no-show on their end MULTIPLE times. Also $500 amenity fee PER applicant? Not all fees are presented to you up front either. Yikes. Your money will go much further somewhere else. 555 is already located in a dead zone so I was genuinely hoping that were would be some trade off here, but it looks like you get loud church bells, safety concerns, and non-responsive staff instead."
"I worked with a lease agent Janai and she was fantastic. I needed to have a video tour the same day I called and she was right there to answer all my questions. Manager, hear me out! She must get a raise! Update: I have been living in the building since 8 months now, and I decided to rate it 2 stars. The management is really great but the building has a serious smoking problem. I have talked to 10 other neighbors, and they complain about the same thing: the apartments smell like weed and cigarettes smoke. My lungs suffer every single day, and I’m planning to move to another place now."
"You can find better places for the price. The building calls itself “luxury” apartments however, it has only two elevators for the large number of residents it serves. One of the elevators is always broke/being used for move in or move out purposes, which essentially leaves us with just ONE elevator. This is unacceptable. The resident parking garage gate has been broken for months now and it does NOT justify the high parking price we pay. The gym is okay however we have to share it with the hotel guests. For the high rent prices we pay, I expect better living quality. The location is just okay, the nearest grocery store is 15 min walk away. I will not be renewing my lease after my current lease ends. My advice - shop around, there are better places in DC"
"Beautiful apartment building. Well managed. Hard to believe there is subsidized housing here, also. Every citizen, every person deserves clean well lighted and well appointed beautiful spaces as home base. Impressive design."
"There's a lot to like about this community, but the best thing about it is the amazing front-desk staff. Nicole, Gabrielle and Dorita are always there to say hello and help in any way they can. Nicole goes out of her way to check in with you, no matter how busy she is, or what kind of day she's having. And thanks to her excellent organization skills she keeps better track of my packages than I do! Gabrielle is helpful and efficient and despite juggling a million tasks, never lets you walk by without saying hello. Dorita was there when I first moved in, answering all 500 of my questions with grace and patience--she still does! Thank you, Ladies, for making 555 such a special place to call home."
