"Not the worst place to live, but all the abandoned bikes make it look like a dump"

"My daughter had to drop out of school. The management company did zero to help her fill her slot. As a matter of fact the terms of the lease make it nearly impossible to sub lease under any kind of hardship conditions. Think twice. They lease to college age kids but do nothing to accommodate changing circumstances."

"Don’t live here. The parking garage was poorly constructed. The main entrance has been out of commission since at least April of this year, which means you have to use the smaller entrance, which means there’s only one way in and one way out. This creates issues as the two way traffic makes it difficult to maneuver. I have personally watched somebody break their side door mirror trying to drive in it. It is frustrating the entrance has taken so long to be fixed, considering they are quick to take their money when your rent is due. This is not the first time this problem has occurred either. Additionally, if somebody files a grievance against you, they will not try to get your side of the story. They will just threaten to kick you out. The only reason I didn’t give this place one star is the maintenance staff is friendly and responds to work orders promptly."

"UView wasn't too bad. No major problems with my apartment, staff/security were helpful, maintenance orders were completed quickly, and I was overall pretty satisfied, but the theft/security problems made it a bad experience. Unfortunately in spring of 2023 there were thousands of dollars of bikes and bike parts that were stolen out of the parking garage in 1 weekend, including mine even with a hardened steel U lock. I filed a report with UView front desk and PG county police but obviously they are not willing to offer any kind of reimbursement. Security was as helpful as they could've been with the resources with they had, but the main problem is there are no cameras in the area where the bikes racks are inside the garage. After this one incident, I've heard of several other bikes getting stolen from the same place, one even just a couple weeks ago. Simply installing a few camera in this area could've prevented this and help the parking garage to be more safe for people walking to their cars, but I was also made aware there have been issues with getting funding for these things. You would think for a building purchased for $235 million dollars in 2018 that they could afford some extra cameras for a couple grand. Since this is an area where theft and crime is fairly frequent it would be worth their while. This forces residents to keep their bikes/scooters in their rooms which is kind of a pain."
