Dolley Madison Apartments

"Those employees who are working here I am not sure if they know what they are doing, they obviously don't communicate each other , I tried to move in since September last year and I have been asked many questions, I answered them several times with different employees and they just simply forgot about it, even sending emails from the office . I finally moved in few days ago and surprise, my car was towed and nobody was informed about the parking sticker and how this works . Miscommunication on different levels !!! I lived in many places around the world and I never had such bad experience !!! I guess that they simply don't care. I got out of my pocket $500 today ! What a nice beginning of the year ! Ask them 1000 questions if you need just be sure about everything !!! On the end I asked them where is and when general manager is going to be at the office and then response was " we don't know " !"

"I lived here for almost 4 years. It's very decent and safe place to live with family. Few Apartments are bit old and need renovation coz when you walk in apartment , floor would creak really bad at few places , can hear voices from nearing units. Hats off to their maintence team who is very active & responsive for requests. Their Leasing team is also decent , never had bad experience. Overall nice place to live if you are looking nearby Mclean metro station, Capitol One, Freddie Mac offices."

"Have lived here for three years and don't have a single negative thing to say about this place. Requests for maintenance are always completed in a timely manner. Management is responsive and professional. Convenient to Metro and major highways. An awesome place to live!"

"I’ve been here for almost a year and have no major complaints. Management has been really responsive whenever I have any maintenance requests. The only reason for removing a star is that when I first moved here, I was in one of the Woodlands apts and was on the middle level (generally you have basement, mid/ground level and then top floor). Whenever the people above me walked around, the floors would creak really bad. It was so bad I couldn’t sleep at nights and had to get ear plugs. Luckily, a top floor apt over at the Colonials became available, so I was able to move after 2 weeks. Now I try to be mindful of the people below me since I know of that problem. Would’ve been nice if they had hardwood floors throughout the apt instead of carpet. Apart from that, to get an 800 sq ft apt with a balcony for this rent in this area is definitely a steal. No regrets."

"My AC is not working for last 24hours (6th July ) when there is a heat wave in whole east cost of US but no one responding. Initially they we will respond back with assurance that they will fixed it within 4hr and later leasing office is close , emergency service is disconnected my call when I try to follow up with them. It is next to impossible for lease in such a hot daay with baby in my apartment. Same happened with my freeze last time when it spoiled my food."
