Hop N Cru

"I’m kind of tired of wasting my time coming to the shop when they are intermittently closed in the middle of the day. Today is the Saturday before Super Bowl, one would expect that they would be open and generating a lot of revenue. I definitely would not have written this review, but this is the third time I’ve come where they’ve been closed during posted business hours. I understand sometimes staffing is an issue, but a sign out front would be very helpful. There’s a lit open sign, and a physical sign that says, “Yes, we’re open” on the door. I knocked loudly on the door, with no response. I understand if someone has to use the restroom, but a little sign saying back in five is all you need to do."

"Like some other reviewers have said, the cashier is rude! I went in at 8:23PM, they close at 8:30PM (I knew what I wanted). As soon as I walk in he asks if I’m paying cash when I said no he proceed to say “hurry up.” I didn’t hear him the first time so he said again “hurry up please”, even more annoyed than the first time. I said never mind and walked out and he tried to explain they were closing and I just ok and left. When I got into my car I see him walking out at 8:25PM. It’s clear customer service is not the goal for this establishment! REPLYING: 1. Why would the doors be open to a store that is closed with lights off…it was turned off after I left. I would not walk into a dark store (the picture was taken 4 minutes after I walked away). 2. Its clear you believe your tone was justified based on your personal situation that I could not have known or be responsible for. Yet no regard for what I could possibly be going through as well. "I used to purchase a lot of beverages from Hop N Cru, and the convenience was pretty ideal for me. However, after being called an a$$hole by the Tuesday evening employee, my business and hopefully the business of friends will be going elsewhere. I walked into the store, and was immediately asked if I had a mask. When I questioned the legitimacy of mask wearing, the employee suggested I take my business elsewhere. Then when I agreed and said I'd be telling friends about the experience, I was called an a$$hole. Wow! If you enjoy being forced to wear a mask based on zero science, and don't mind the possibility of confrontation with the staff, this might be your kind of place."

"Stared down by the cashier (an old asian man) from the moment I walked into the store till I left. Felt uncomfortable/unwelcomed and won't be going back."
