Liberty Gardens Apartments

"The living conditions here are deplorable. I've been renting a townhouse here for over 4 years now and in the past year it has draftically declined. My downstairs toilet backs up into my home at least twice a year. Most recently last night when I arrived home from work. It was feces water through my dinning room and my kitchen. I called emergency maintenance at 1243am. It is now 1015am and no assistant. I have a 4 year old with autism whom I'm trying to keep from going downstairs because it's unsanitary. I bleached the kitchen but it's nothing I can do about the carpet. It's no reason I should be living like this especially with the rent being raised by over $200. SHAME ON YOU LIBERTY GARDENS!!!!"

"These apartments and townhomes are infested with mice, especially the townhouses.You should receive a free cat when you move in and sign the lease. This complex has went down. I observed a tenant throwing trash from their top balcony. Some tenants dry their laundry on the balconies, unbelievable!! Worst than inner city public housing. Definitely not worth the rent they are charging. Very dirty and trash everywhere, dumpsters over flowing with trash and management does not care and will never respond to any complaints or concerns. Loud children section 8 in the townhomes."

"I recently lived there and was out out recently. While going thru my items in storage .. I discovers that a few of my items are missing. I just need to know since when was it okay to steal from someone in the process of eviction. I called up there and left an urgent message with maintenance because all the maintenance men were there."

"I have lived in this community for almost a year and almost without incident. I live on the top floor and currently have no neighbors on my level so my building remains very quiet for the most part. There are many positives that I’ve enjoyed living here and maintenance staff has always been pleasant and helpful. The reason for my 3-star rating is primarily due to the laundry room in my building. Having a working washer/dryer is a reasonable request especially when this is listed as an amenity included in rent. From the time I moved in (March 2022) until this very day I have had malfunctions with either the washer or dryer. Right now as I type this my wet clothes are sitting in the dryer from yesterday because I keep getting an error message. I have called the number to place a direct order with the company that owns the appliances. However, apartment management also needs to be aware and responsible for ensuring that residents have appliances that work… after all, we’re paying for it."
