"I can’t say enough good things about this ER. We had to take our dog there twice. The first time my husband and I were out of town, and my teenage son had to take him in. I had called in advance. They were ready & expecting him. Treated him quickly, and the vet even talked to us on the phone, which we really appreciated. The 2nd visit was last week & unfortunately was an end of life visit for our pup. They were incredibly kind, and made space for us while we waited for all the members of our family to come and say their goodbyes. It probably took 2 hours for everyone to arrive. The euthanasia room is very serene & comfortable. It truly made an awful day a little bit better. Thank you for the care you have given our family."
"The day we always dreaded came true and we had to put our beloved boy Tiger down. This emergency vet was so kind understanding and went above and beyond. They handled him so well and gentle. Our worst day ever they made it as peaceful as possible."
"I can’t thank the staff and Dr Pollock enough for their compassion and care for Arabella “Bella” in her final moments. Bella was dropped off on the side of the road this summer as a senior citizen long coat German shepherd. When I brought her home I fought her last 3 months of life to bring her to her best health, finding that she had diabetes and chronic ear infections, among other things. Each day with Bella was a true blessing for me. I didn’t save Bella, she saved me. Bella was my lifeline as my dad battled cancer and lost his battle at the end of October. The day before thanksgiving Bella was acting great until she wasn’t, and then presented just like my last German shepherd did when he became suddenly ill with hemangiosarcoma. I called Advanced and they were so kind from the moment they answered the phone. From the moment I got there until Bella passed away, they showed her that some humans truly are still good and gave her the very best care. Humans failed Bella, but not the staff here. Thank you so much for your kindness, compassion, and love that you gave. You all were a true blessing to us that night and Dr Pollock was the sweetest vet I have ever met."
"My dog was having a severe allergic reaction and my regular vet’s office was closed. I found Advanced Animal Emergency and the woman I spoke to on the phone was the best! Incredibly helpful, reassuring, knowledgeable, and answered the phone quickly. She also consulted the Veterinarian a couple times during our call to make sure it would still be safe to give my dog certain medications before her potential visit. I like that it is their practice to tell you the cost up front, because ER visits can be so expensive and it helps to not guess how much it might cost. I did not end up having to bring my dog in overnight, but was very relieved to know that this is a practice I can trust in an emergency."
"I was referred here for emergency services by my pet-sitter and was VERY satisfied. My dog hurt herself and I was very worried as she's always been in relatively excellent health - the staff was very caring and kind. The girls/techs treated my girl and me with the utmost respect and kindness. Dr. Pasternak was great as well. They were upfront with their fees and left it up to me if I wanted x-rays, even though the doctor explained that x-ray results wouldn't change the course of treatment for my dog. I was very pleased that they didn't seem predatory in what services they recommended/required. I left the hospital with the necessary medications, discharge instructions, as well as follow up procedures, all for very fair pricing. PHEW!! How relieved am I! Thanks to everyone!"
