CVS Pharmacy

"Negative 100 stars!!! The pharmacy manager and his minions in the pharmacy acted like school aged children and heckled me in the drive-thru after I brought it to their attention that they broke several laws dispensing my 8-year-old son's ADHD medication and gave me false information a number of times. The young 20-something dark-haired girl with the ponytail told me it was filled in Florida. Then she told me it was backordered, and FINALLY she told me it was ready to be picked up RIGHT NOW (this was all in 1 phone call) so I drove there right away! The pharmacist, a 40-something bald man with glasses was more worried about trying to impress the girl he worked with rather than do his job and teach his employees the LAW, he then refused to give me back my federal ID/driver's license and threatened to withhold my son's medication! He told me he had the power to put it back on the shelf. I told him that I was calling corporate either way and if he keeps it up, I will call the police as well. He eventually gave my ID back to me and my son's meds, but I still called the Clinton Township police to report his harassment, and they came out to document it and talk to me and paid him a visit. I also called corporate, and the district manager said the awful culture there would be taken care of and possible "retraining". I say good luck! I won't ever step foot in that store again. Nobody messes with my child's medication or treats customers with such disrespect. FYI - we found another pharmacy that is MUCH better and my son's meds are never on backorder like they always are from CVS. It's a win-win!"

"We were forced to move to CVS due to my husband's insurance. At first I was hesitant. It has been almost 2 years now and I have to say that I am very grateful for all of the staff at this location. I have never had an issue in the drive thru or inside. Do you have to wait sometimes? Yes. Do I care? No. They are one of the 24 hour locations so you can expect more people to flow through there. Yousiff is the most personable pharmacist that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. When you walk in and they know you're name, you feel confidence in their service. He takes his time to learn about his patients and really goes out of his way to say "Have a good day!" regardless of how busy he is. Keep doing a great job, CVS!"

"Didn't have 3 month supply of daily insulin on hand...forced full payment for a partial prescription that KEEPS MY SON ALIVE!!! He has been on this medicine for almost a decade and we go through this almost every pickup like we just came up with a random request!!!! Are you kidding me???? And then they are RUDE about it.... neglect in the drive thru...."

"The Daytime Pharmacist has been rude and insulting towards me on more than one occasion. I’ve been accused of lying, treated as if I was illiterate and just yesterday one of the staff lied to me about calling my doctor’s office and accused me of forgery. I’ve been patronizing this location for 2 1/2 years but will not after Today. I’m not quite sure if this behavior is race related or not... But, I am an African American so judge it for yourself."
