"Great location! Close to everything! The rooms and the service was horrible. We checked in early at 12pm, went to take a shower to go out for dinner and there was no running water! Tried calling the front desk but the phone in the room wasn't working either. I used my cell and was told that they were working on it. I'm quite sure we could've been notified at check in. When asking about alternative methods ,we learned that it wasn't just a floor or a side but the whole hotel! They never offered to compensate but offered to put us in another hotel..Comfort Inn! It wasn't worth it...we just got dressed and left! Any time you're traveling it's best to use one of the other properties, this was a whole bust for us!!!"

"Luggage cart came apart with the top almost hitting me on the head. I reported it to the desk clerk whose response was that he would report it to management. I can only hope it was removed from guest service before anyone is hurt. Don't expect a comfortable shower as no water pressure in shower mode. Thermostat - good. Refrigerator - good."

"Located near the interstate so very easy to get to. The free breakfast was underwhelming. The room was ok except for the bathroom (see picture). Very old school with tiny bars of soap and tiny tubes of shampoo. Not the best place we’ve stayed in"

"It was a terrible experience. The phone and the fridge are broken. The pool is not working. There's a weird smell coming out from the AC unit. The ATM is broken. The shower head is really loose. The bathroom is so tiny. The bed is is great. I work at hotel for years before but this hotel has terrible and awful service i had. Not helpful when ask for directions or even anything around the area. Being a front desk agent you need to be knowledgeable in your area. You need to provide service for your customers. Breakfast is okay but it would be nice to provide variety of options. Cofee is not 24hrs. Building needs to have a touch up if you want to continue this business. I would give this a 1 star review for a lot of reasons explained above."

"Wingate by Wyndham provided us just the right accommodation when we visited Washington DC a few months ago. Our room was clean and the linens are laundered. One downside is the noisy air-conditioner. Breakfast selections were plenty. They were more than enough for my small stomach. When we checked in, the male staff was kind enough to give us tips on how to navigate the DC traffic and what to avoid. I asked for some sightseeing brochures and they don't have one. That seems odd - because in every Texas hotel, there are brochures of places to visit. He did give us a print-out of a map. Overall, the hotel is a decent place to stay and the price is very much affordable for travelers on a budget like us."
