Vista Medical Center - Crystal City 320 23rd Street South, Arlington, VA 22202

"Took my son here while visiting DC when he was experiencing flu symptoms. I will give credit where credit is due to the front service desk attendant. She was kind and empathetic to my son, who was visibly not feeling well. We were also able to set up an appointment online and were seen quickly. Once we were taken back to be seen, we waited 30 minutes for a doctor. When Dr. Rashid came in, it was one of the most awkward, strange, and unprofessional encounters with a doctor that I have ever experienced. Horrendous bedside manner. He had no idea how to appropriately interact with a sick toddler, and multiple times I had to tell my son what to do in order for Dr. Rashid to look in his ears, nose, mouth etc. because he was not directing him. The best way I can describe his bedside manner with a toddler is that he was treating him like an unempathetic adult. We just got the bill, and the visit cost us $128 AFTER co-pay and we were IN-NETWORK. I can't imagine what out of network costs would of been. It's not even worth trying to fight this bill after reading peoples comments under the word "bill." I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone and would run as fast as you can if you are reading this."

"We visited Vista Medical Center, Crystal City, with the expectation of prompt and caring service, especially since I had a scheduled AM appointment. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory or professional. Firstly, the front desk staff's attitude was a major letdown. They were dismissive and lacked the basic customer service skills one would expect in a healthcare setting. When I arrived, I was informed that despite my scheduled appointment, there would be an additional wait of over an hour. This was not only inconvenient but also contradictory to the purpose of an "urgent" care facility. The lack of urgency in attending to patients was stark and disappointing. It seemed as though the staff were indifferent to the needs and time constraints of the patients. When I expressed my frustration and decided to leave, the response I received was a disingenuous “have a nice holiday.” This only added to the frustration and left a bitter taste. Their lack of service or care for a patient explains the very bad reviews this locations has received the past couple of years. In a situation where one seeks immediate medical attention, the last thing needed is the added stress of poor service and a nonchalant attitude from the healthcare provider or staff. I would not recommend this urgent care center, even as a last resort. Their service does not live up to the standards of care and urgency required in a medical facility."

"Absolutely the worse urgent care I’ve ever been to. The doctor was a horrible experience and at the end he told me it would take 20 minutes for my prescription. I’ve been waiting for my prescription for over an hour now. I would never recommend this place"

"I could see how some of the star commenters had that experience. A single staff person and the doctor occupy the office. My experience was ok and straightforward. I didn’t have a sinus infection so I went away with a prescription for steroids. I was in and out in 30 min after scheduling an appointment for early in the day (9:15)."

"Unresponsive, unethical and slow service. I’ve waiting 3 weeks for a provider to call my insurance for a prescription authorization . I will be contacting the BBB and DOH. I’ve gone to the office three times in one week to check in. Each time I’ve had to start the process over from the beginning because they don’t update charts, communicate when changing shifts and most days they have an empty waiting room. Every time I go there’s some new discovery. I was even told they’ve never had me as a patient because they put the wrong birthdate in my chart."
