"We just had our second experience with Kathy at Peace and Comfort. Kathy was kind, compassionate, patient and she explained the process every step of the way. We are so grateful for the service Peace and Comfort provides. This is by far a better experience for our pets as well as the humans that care for them than traditional euthanasia at the vet (although I recognize vets do a great job as well, trying to provide as much comfort as they can). Thank you Kathy!"
"This is the hard part of every ride, and unfortunately, I had to let go of so many dogs and cats. I always use a vet who comes to my house, especially for cats. I just hate to see someone poking them to place that catheter and most veterinarians seem to want to keep that protocol. This was the most peaceful passing ever. He fell asleep purring, and was gone in a few minutes. Dr. Kathy Meyer explained everything in details. What touched me the most was how she took care of the body of my cat. She gently put him in a basket with a blanket to take him away. Care, humanity and respect. Of course, I do not wish to see her too often, but I know who to call if I need to let someone go. A previous vet who put to sleep one my of labs just carried him to his truck like a sack of potatoes and it broke my heart a bit more. Dr. Myers is everything you want to have around your pet for his last ride. I cannot thank her enough for her gentleness and care."
"Peace & Comfort brought exactly that in our pet's last moments. The level of compassion (and professionalism) that was shown to us and our cat was beyond my expectations. We were able to say our goodbyes in the privacy and comfort of our home whilst in the hands of an amazingly empathetic doctor. I encourage anyone questioning whether or not to go this route to please do so. You won't regret it."
"Recently my husband and I decided that our 12-year-old cat Tommy had suffered long enough from a tough illness. We are deeply thankful to Dr. Becky Bolch of Peace & Comfort In-Home Pet Euthanasia for taking care of Tommy's needs and ours! She was so kind, gentle, sensitive, and understanding! She devoted a generous amount of time to us, and would have stayed longer if we had needed it. During our days of mourning, she even sent us a beautiful sympathy card with an eloquent, handwritten note telling us that she is there for us if we need her. THANK YOU, DR. BECKY!"
"We really appreciate Peace & Comfort Vet's assistance when we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize our elderly dog. Dr. Meyer was very kind and helpful throughout the process. The remembrance items (boxed ashes and pawprint) are beautiful and arrived very soon afterwards."
