"Went in to get full set acrylic nails. Normally I only get pedicures here and that service is wonderful- the lady who does my feet is outstanding. I’ve not gotten acrylic nails in years, mostly do manicures. Anyway the nail tech assigned to me had a nasty attitude from the start. I told her I wanted my nails to be short and round/square shape. Whenever I used to get acrylic nails (I’m from San Francisco Bay Area), if it was your first initial set they would give manicure, do your cuticles, oil them, etc. Not here. This nail tech only cut off my old nails. There was no simple manicuring of my original nail at all; nothing. She cut my nails and then proceeded to apply the tips. Because, it had been so long since I had tips I had forgotten the process. I wanted her to create a small curve or hump to my nail bed because they are very flat. That didn’t happened- I repeatedly told her this and she snapped and said my nails were too short and proceeded on. That was attitude number 1. Then she began filing ( again I wanted square round); she filed -too square, then she filed again - too round , then she got one nail close to what I wanted and I showed her - this one doesn’t look like the other nails she had filed. Attitude #2 - she snaps and yells and tells me I don’t know what shape I want. At this time I tell her please don’t yell at me because if I yell back I promise my yell will be louder with double the attitude - calm down. She proceeded to finish and paint my nails. While my nails were drying I asked her to come over so that I could explain how her behavior wasn’t customer focused and that I was only trying to make sure that I (the paying customer) was satisfied with my nails. I was calm and quiet in my delivery and was really trying to be respectful and give her a chance to explain herself. She abruptly walks away while I’m speaking. That was attitude #3 and the last I was going to tolerate. I asked for a manager - none was at the shop. Before I began drying my nails I left a tip which she never collected; she just left it on the nail desk, no thank you, nothing - pure unadulterated nasty attitude and poor customer service. Well I paid for my service, but thought twice after I left the tip which was almost 30%. I thought to myself - hmmm no I don’t have to be treated in this manner and leave a tip - NOPE! I retrieved my tip, let my nails dry and left. Next day I look at my nails and it looks as if I have press on Chitlets (the gum) for nails! Not satisfied at all; my cuticles look at mess! Summary: I don’t know her name, but unfortunately I will not be returning, not even to get my feet done from the lady who does such a wonderful job! I don’t have to encounter such poor customer service and spend my money at a place where this particular nail tech has such a horrible attitude. Too many nail salons in the area that are highly rated. My first instinct should have warned me - only rated 4.3 stars and too many 1 and 2 star ratings! Well add another one star rating - mine! That nail tech needs to be retrained on being nice and customer focused. AND I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ACRYLIC NAILS! PERIOD!"

"I love getting my nails done here. My only criticism is I had to stop getting my nails done by Hannah because I noticed my nails getting weaker, and she would also refuse to correct issues I noted to her. Otherwise, the other nail techs I have worked with have been wonderful."
