"Anytime if you want or feel like doing a good deed. Please donate to SPCA or become a volunteer. It always feels good to be part of greater good. They are doing a lot of good things to so many animals in need."
"They are so accommodating, caring, patient and supportive. They have spay and neutered many dogs for the rescue I am with. Really can’t say enough great things about the staff and the prices are great. Can’t recommend them enough!"
"SPCA has been welcoming and patient as I attempted to trap all the feral cats at my condominium IN ALEXANDRIA! SPCA is very responsive and even texted me. I'm very appreciative of their support after I tried to reach out to local rescue groups in my area."
"The Volunteers are a wonderful, dedicated staff but PG County needs more locations throughout the county and the ability to make an appointment. Residents and there fur babies have to wait long hours in line in the heat of Summer and the frost of Winter"
"Waited almost four hours and only managed to get to the "second line" for the payment. All while waiting mostly without shade in the 90°+. Would have been better if it was ticket system with 20-30 in each batch, like batch A1-A30. So only batch A & B can be in the line while batch C & D can find a shade in the property. For later batch, they can even wait in the car, or go to a nearby park or gas station to grab something to eat or drink. Additionally, a text notification option could make it much more convenient. Also, there was a vendor for smoothie but did not carry a water. Although a nice volunteer was providing water for a dollar, but was cash only. This was very inconvenient; Venmo, Paypal or Zele option would have made things much more convenient. I had to return since my dog was getting very anxious and showing signs of heat stroke. There was water for dogs and a sprinkler as well. However, pipe with on and off nozzle with pressure control would have been much nicer in the summer as some dogs are scared with high pressure."
