"The best Jamaican/ island food you can get in Binghamton I promise you probably the best small business in Binghamton. 10/10 every time. Great people. Becoming like family to me. I order probably 3 times a week. Jerk Ribs or Jerk steak and Rasta pasta every time! Real real wild boy!"
"Disgusting, over priced, overcooked, and over seasoned. Save your money and order elsewhere. Honestly a spot in the same area that can actually cook. So disappointed. These reviews are friends and family. I'm just a hard worker that spent my hard earned money on trash.... I can't even Believe they were proud enough to give us this TRASH. Burned nasty food that was sitting all day with a cook that needs to stay out the kitchen, and God forbid you call them and tell them your disappointed cause they don't care and won't fix the issue but make excuses to why and what. Shameful. Never again. All these reviews have to be friends and family or people they gave discounts and free food too because they are too embarrassed to tell the truth. I will NEVER order here again. Honestly my review was not worth the time but I purchased and owe to the rest to let you know they need to do WAY better, cook, service, prices and lighting.... especially cleanliness... would not of given one star but can't leave a review without atleast one."
"I've ordered from here a few times before and thought their food would be great for a dinner party of 8 people. I was nervous to call because there isn't a "catering" section of their menu, but the owner personally answered the phone and was very kind and accommodating. I got a full pan of rice, jerk chicken, 5 lbs of oxtails, and some cabbage and plantains. He also gave me two 2L bottles of soda for free, and I only spent $250. The price was cheaper than I thought it would be, but the owner said that he likes to give a lot of food to customers, and he even gives some to the homeless, which is very heartwarming. My guests loved the food, and they all took a plate home with them! If you want to order from a place that is generous and run by great people, please give this place a try!"
"Fantastic Jerk Chicken! I picked up on the grilled flavor, and the Jerk seasoning is not too spicy, but still flavorful. Chopped style. The peas and rice were on point and the plantains and cabbage were a perfect compliment. I'm a sweet n soft plantain fan, so they were perfect in that way. Cabbage was tender, but not mushy- perfect texture. Everything was well balanced in flavor level, so nothing overpowered the other. I'm a mix my plate type, and each bite was able to distinguish every different flavor and texture. The lady serving me was very pleasant and authentic. The atmosphere was clean, but 'dated' in a cool step-back-into-1979 kinda way. Looks like it has potential to be a cool hang spot, and I hope they thrive in their business. Show them some love and enjoy some bangin Caribbean food!"
"Just ordered the curry chicken with yellow rice for lunch and am very satisfied. Portion size is good for the price and is comparable to Chinese food portions if you order out. The food is hot, fresh, and was ready on time. The flavor is well balanced and not overpowered with too many spices. I am a first time customer and will definitely be returning for lunches and dinners. I can't state enough how great the flavor is. Well done to the chef!!"
