"Decided to try Mexican food in upstate New York and was disappointed. It was nothing like 8 am used to in Texas and that was even with lowered expectations. I ordered enchiladas and they were bland and covered with lettuce for some reason. Menu is misleading because it appears to be reasonable but there is a additional charge for any protein. Service was great though."

"WATCH YOUR LINE ITEMS ON YOUR CHECK! We had 3 meals, four charges! The extra charge of $5.99 was for the "protein" that was included in my burrito. I was not asked which protein I wanted so they automatically gave me the most expensive choice. It is misleading to say that the fiesta burrito comes with all of these ingredients and your choice of protein and then list ALL of the proteins out, including the beef which would be the base protein anywhere else. Our server WAS prompt, polite and thorough. However the ingredients were sub par. My daughters quesadilla from the kids menu was simply a small folded over soft taco shell with a sprinkling of cheese that looked microwaved, not grilled, not crispy. It came to the table uncut. The Taco salad appeared to have fat free beans. Tasteless."

"I recently dined at El Pulpo for my first time and I must say after driving by for the last 2 years I wish I would of stopped before now. I am from the south west and know and enjoy authentic Mexican food. This brought me back to food from home. Excellent food, large menu, and reasonable prices. The service was wonderful, very attentive and knowledgeable. My fiance and I had dinner, and dessert and our bill was under $60. (Take home boxes were needed) Highly recommended for take out or dine in."
