"I was in there on 5/17. I put gum from shelf in a bag and Management came up to me accused me of stealing deodorant. She claims she saw me put it in my pocket. The only thing I had in my hand was my phone which I placed in my back pocket to free up my hands. She took the gum from me and wouldn’t let me purchase it. Told me to get out of her store and never come back. I told her she falsely accused me of shoplifting while I was still in the store shopping. I work in the same shopping center! I’ve worked customer service for a very long time and know you should never accuse a customer of stealing. All I wanted to do was buy gum and plastic forks and instead I got thrown out and banned from the store. She should be fired!"

"An item rang up wrong at the register. I went to the shelf with the cashier, she verified the item rang up wrong. She still wouldn't sell at the posted price because it was in the system at the higher price. What was the point of verifying it? This place always has some kind of issue. Shelves and shelves of merchandise with no prices at all. I'm done."

"I would give no stars if I could. A customer in line told the cashier there was a mouse flipping around and looks like hes about to die.. she did nothing and did not call anyone either. Mouse is just flipping and flopping on the floor in front of customers. Disgusting.. will not be shopping here again"

"My daughter and I visited the store at 10am (Sunday- 8/11) to purchase I-phone chargers which were locked behind the counter at the cashiers station. The assistant manager was the only person in the store and she could not find the key to unlock the chargers. At this point it didn’t seem like customer service was a priority for this employee so I requested the contact information of the manager. I was told to contact corporate and finally this employee reluctantly gave me the first name of the store manager. When I asked for the store managers full name I was informed that the first name is the only name given out."

"Prices are good like all Family Dollars but customer service is not so good. I've been overcharged a couple times then when I try to get help or explain something it's hard to find someone who speaks English. I ask a question & get a blank stare. Typical for this area I suppose but still a big annoyance & rather ridiculous to have people working a customer service position who can't communicate with the customers. Also, please check dates on food. I bought granola bars that were over a yr outdated. Dangerous! You can get very sick eating stuff that outdated. I returned them & they tried to give me less back then I paid for them so it was a bit of a hassle. I told them how important it is to check dates on their products. Not sure they really care so I'm writing this review to warn others. Be CAREFUL when buying food. I have also bought candy at this & other Family & stores in Woodbridge that was very old, stale & gross. Many times. Have given up on food at Family $. Will continue to shop to stock up on paper products, laundry, etc."
