"Great place to camp and Hunt! Been camping and hunting for 12 years. And that 2to3 times a year. There is a shower and water at willow Bay camp site over the hill . It's free !! About 15-20 min to town!! Love this place! I will go until I can't."
"Very quiet and not busy at all for August. Restrooms could be a bit cleaner and there was only one pump to get water. It was high in iron so I recommend you bring your own."
"Beautiful, private and quiet campground. Lots of options and plenty of space. Fire ring, picnic table provided. Was able to find a lot of wood around too for building campfires. 2 main downsides were that pretty much every campsite was very rocky so it was very challenging to put down stakes for a tent. Secondly, the trails were a little confusing. The blazes seemed to be messed up on the trail I was on and I ended up getting a little lost in the woods. Eventually I found my way back on the trail I originally came on. Despite that, the camping trip was easy. Went on off-season so I didn't need a reservation. Just showed up and then paid before I left. I simply put money in an envelope and slipped it into a locked metal box (the pay station). I was there for 3 days and only saw 1 other person walk by our campsite. A few cars drove by but other than that it was very private. Would definitely recommend coming here if you just want a space to hang out and pitch a tent."
"Clean, quiet and plenty of room between sites. If you plan ahead (at least 3 days before your arrival) you can reserve a specific site. Otherwise it is first come, first served. There is no attendant so there is a self pay/ honor system upon your arrival. This is a rustic camp ground with non-flush out houses and hand pumps for water."
