"I ordered a lemon drop with Tito’s as my drink. When I received the drink the presentation was beautiful however the cocktail was very tart. I told the bartender in which she stated this is how Nola’s instructed her to make it. When I asked her if she could make it again and sweeter she then offered to bring me some type of syrup in which I would have to pour it in my drink myself!! When I advised her that I was not a bartender and as bartender she should know what makes a drink sweeter strong etc… she act as though she didn’t understand and told me the only thing she could do was take my drink!! I told her not only should she take my drink but she should have offered to remake me another drink! This establishment holds your card on file ok , but then charges a 19% gratuity, the crazy part she was training a future bartender… good luck honey cause she’s going to need it with the horrible and incompetent consumer service her trainer gave me!!! And on top of the the food was nasty more dry."
"We happened to be out Christmas Eve and this was the only place that was open. They had great music more of a hip hop/RnB vibe. We sat at the bar and was serviced right away it wasn’t really packed in there though. The food was good also only a bit overpriced."
"It was extremely loud. Music blasting and you can’t hear your guest or the server. Literally have to scream. The food was mediocre. A light skinned gumbo was served that tasted like chicken noodle soup. The drinks are definitely watered down. Three drinks in and I felt NOTHING. The bartender was sweet. The mussels were over cooked. The calamari was AMAZING. Caesar salad had vinaigrette on it."
"This was my first time eating at Nola Seafood and Spirits. Went on this Saturday. They had live music, that really upped the experience. We had reservations, arrived a little early and were able to be seated immediately. Overall, staff, food and atmosphere were great. Will definitely be returning."
"Dined at Nola's in Federal Hill this weekend for the first time and would definitely visit again. Nola's is a Creole food restaurant. Erica, our server was great and the vibe and aesthetic of the restaurant was really nice (Loved their old school music mix). The food was good. Really enjoyed their calamari, Mardi gras Mambo shrimp and crawfish bread. Red beans and rice was okay. Hush puppies were a little disappointing though. And even though it was Saturday their drinks & and some of the apps were on happy hour prices ❤️❤️."
