"I’ve been going to this office for the last 8 years. The staff/nurses and doctors are super friendly and it’s easy to get an appointment! They work the best with my kid, and she’s not afraid to go there. I don’t think I can ever switch to a different office."
"All the doctor's and nurse's are great and friendly. The front desk always seems annoyed. I've been here about 5 or 6 times within the last 2 months and it's filthy. Everywhere is filthy. I'm actually glad they still have everyone wear mask. I feel like I'd definitely be sick if I weren't wearing it. I have been put in the same room 2 days in a row ( here one day with 1 child only to return with another one of my children the next day) and the room looked exactly the same nothing was ever cleaned. A doctor's office should be cleaned especially the sick/ walk in side. In fact they should be cleaned between patients."
"Most of the doctors here deserve 5 stars. But the process of getting back to see anyone is insanely poor. There are no sick appointments, only walk ins. The walk in experience is terrible to say the least. I arrived right at 9am with a sick child and her healthy baby sister. I asked to wait in the car with her and the baby to avoid the crowded waiting room and was told “no.” This is a recurring issue. When I mentioned it to the doctor last time they were shocked I was told no and said they would speak to the front desk staff. They said we should always be allowed to wait in the car. It happened again. They said it would be a 5-10 minute wait in the waiting room, to justify their “no” response. It has been 40 minutes and counting. We’re stuffed in here with 10 other families, many coughers, many of whom are wearing no masks. No one cares. Healthy kids, sick kids, all lumped together. No choice to wait in the car. Again. The doctors are great but this office is terrible at protecting patients from contagious patients."
"I’ve taken my kids here for the last three years and am very understanding of the healthcare system due to previously working at a hospital. The phone wait times are awful ranging from 45min to and hour and a half. The front desk is annoyed with you before you even open your mouth. If you don’t schedule to be the first appt in the morning your wait time can be 30min to an hour before your even seen by a nurse. The walk in system is frustrating because it’s the “luck of the draw” which provider you get for your sick child and it feels very easy to be written off because there’s no doctor patient relationship. The last time we were seen we showed up as soon as the office opened for a walk in appt when we got into our room there was ants on the ground finger nail biting and other sticky residue. *all of the nurses and medical assistants are WONDERFUL! There are even a few doctors and practitioners I will miss but unfortunately after three years between the “luck of the draw” the bad outweighs the good for me and my family."
"The people here are great, the doctors are excellent, the variety of services are wonderful, front desk staff is on top of it every time. They have a walk in service for minor issues (colds, earache, etc) that is super convenient. My only complaint is that it takes 20-30 minutes to get on the phone with anyone. It is faster for me to drive over if I need anything from them or need to speak to anyone, or get an appointment. At the core if the problem is that UPMC wants you to do everything online, but because I don't use UPMC (just the kids do) I can't make an account for my kids to book online appointments or leave a message for a provider because it requires an adult to have an account. Not a problem for most people, maybe. I stick with the struggle because they are awesome."
