"the dentist literally leaves a sore on my bottom gums EVERY TIME im there because he pinches it with his finger AND mirror. its like he has no gentle-ness. i was saying ow and that it hurt but he wasnt adjusting or asking me what hurt. the orthodontist there is amazing tho i love that place"
"I have had a terrible experience with Dr. Loyacona. I needed to get braces 2 different times, had issues with my permanent retainer and shifted teeth. I’ve had to return to his office multiple times for the same issue. Today was my last straw. He began to argue with me insisting that I was not using my retainer, when in fact I did and continued to tell him my tooth will not shift back with the retainer alone. I know because it is my mouth and I followed his instructions. I would keep my retainer in for the correct amount of time, and my tooth will shift right back to where it is not supposed to be. He gave the same direction as times before, “just put your retainer in” as if that will fix an issue that clearly needs more intervention than just “use retainer”. Each time there has been no real resolution, and now I am suffering from crooked/shifted teeth that I never had to deal with before I ever stepped into his office the first time. My confidence is shot now that I have even more issues than what I originally walked in with. Nice guy, terrible experience and horrible diagnosis’ and even more terrible resolutions."
"After my son got his braces off his teeth immediately shifted. My sons dentist thought he was missing bone. Dr Loyacacona thought he could have a cyst. I took my son to an oral surgeon as suggested by Dr Loyacona. The surgeon said my son doesn't have a cyst and isn't missing bone. Turns out it was Dr Loycaconas fault my sons teeth shifted the way they did. The surgeon said when the braces where put on the bone was pushed out. Now the insurance won't pay for braces again. My son was better off never getting braces. Crowded teeth and crooked teeth is one thing but having a caved in gum line is another."
