"The worst dental office I have ever visited in my 45 years of life. The problems cover such a wide range, it does not fit within a short review. Rude staff and extremely unilateral decisions (they canceled on me multiple times for no good reason and pushed back my appointment by 4-5 months without so much as an apology, but when I moved to a different city and did not go back to them, they sent me a bill for a no-show to an alleged cleaning appointment that they did not even sent a reminder for!). But the real prize is the dentist. I once asked him about teeth whitening options. After dismissing the alternatives, he tried hard to sell me on Zoom whitening with a salesman pitch: "It costs $700, but for you, I'll do it for $550" (why? you barely know me!). Not to mention that he did not bother to tell me that Zoom is actually not an option for people with crowns, as those do not change color. So I guess the plan was to charge me $550 and leave me with Dalmatian teeth, or better, charge me some more and change my perfectly good crowns to match the newly white teeth. I found the whole business to be extremely unprofessional and off-putting. Glad to not have to deal with these people again."

"TLDR: the practice canceled an appt I made 6 months ago with 2 days notice. Next available openings are Sept. 2023. *** Similar to another review: I made an appointment with Dr. Gleason back in November 2022. The soonest they had available was April 2023. I decided to make the appointment because my friend highly recommended this practice. 2 days before my scheduled appointment they called and left a voicemail simply stating that they had to cancel and that I should call to make a new appointment. I had missed this voicemail (my fault, not theirs) and showed up. When I pressed for more of an explanation as to why they waited until just 2 days before to cancel this is the information I got: they were relying on a temp dental hygienist to cover for that day. They sometimes don't know if they'll get a temp for a certain day but they wait until as close to the appointment as possible to cancel. It never crossed my mind that this could happen. They had texted me on April 19th to confirm I was coming. Should be calling dentists to confirm that they're keeping my appointment If you're a new patient, I wouldn't risk taking this chance. I'd rather be told that they're not accepting new patients at all until they are confident they can keep appointments. My dental care was delayed 6 months when I could have just tried elsewhere. Luckily, I called another dental practice and got an appointment for next week."

"In July 2022 I made an appointment here for the next available cleaning for new patients. I was given a slot in mid March 2023, which is longer than I wanted to wait but I was willing to do so. Cue today, February 13th 2023, I just got a call from Dr. Gleason's office saying that my appointment was cancelled and that there was no way they could accommodate me until September 2023! I do not understand how this office is unable to keep an appointment made 7 months in advance, but I'd recommend steering clear of here especially if you are a new patient. Apparently they are unable to keep enough hygienists on staff, so I suppose this may just be a bullet dodged."

"I've had fairly poor experiences with Gleason. As he was monitoring my wisdom teeth coming in, he decided to put off their removal across several visits. This turned out to be too long, as one of them was impacted (something that he was aware of) which ended up cracking the tooth next to it. In removing the cavity, not enough decayed material was removed, which led to a root canal. The root canal had to take away too much material (due to the previous circumstances) and compromised the tooth. Ultimately, after years of dealing with this tooth, it had to be removed and replaced with an implant. This has cost me thousands of dollars and quite the headache, all of which could have been avoided if my wisdom teeth were removed in time, or he was more aggressive in removing the decayed material of the original cavity. I think Gleason is too hesitant in his treatment, which causes even worse problems down the road. I can't in good conscious recommend him to anyone."

"Let me start by saying I do not enjoy dental visits. So much, in fact, that I used my constant change of location over the past ten years as an excuse to not seek out a dentist (I know, I know). When I realized I was rolling the dice for too long, I found Dr. Gleason's office near my home and decided to give it a try. I was nervous, but I can honestly say that my visit was easily the best dental appointment I have ever had. Dr. Gleason and his staff were thorough, knowledgeable, and pleasant in a very genuine sort of way. They did an excellent job cleaning up my teeth in only one sitting. Instead of trying to sell me additional procedures (especially based on a ten-year lapse in dental care), Dr. Gleason explained that my teeth were great (including wisdom teeth) and simply advised another 6-month check-up and cleaning. Very happy I have found Dr. Gleason's office!"
