The Dentists at Mercy

"Went in for a cleaning and they stated I had cavities which needed fixed, come back and they surprised me by saying I needed a crown (I'm 32 and have had pretty decent quality teeth with consistent dental checks). They then shave my tooth to a nub and tell me to come in 2 weeks for the crown while in unbearable pain for the 2 weeks even with just liquids as the nerve is basically exposed. They placed the crown around the new year about 8-9 mo ago and things were going ok until it popped off while eating this morning, in less than a year! This is after paying 2k for the crown when they assured me I didn't have to upgrade my insurance coverage because it was a "simple filling". Strong pass on this institution. Very upset and disappointed."

"I had a very unpleasant experience during my visit yesterday. Firstly, the nurse hurt my mouth when she was holding her tools too hard, and instead of apologizing she kept saying I had a small mouth. Secondly, the same nurse hurt my ears when she was taking the x-ray protective clothing off me. Lastly, my corners of the mouth were broken after the visit. I felt very uncomfortable and disappointed with the overall experience."

I first reached out via their website and received a timely response and answers to a few questions before setting the appointment. Upon arrival I was greeted kindly and respectfully. The care and professionalism only continued. I was never made to feel less than or put down due to the condition of my teeth. I’m fact everyone took care to ensure that I felt safe and heard.
