I really appreciated that she took the time to talk to me face to face before and after my appointment. She definitely shows how much she cares for her patients by her attentiveness. "As a new UPMC for you recipient, I called to schedule a new patient appointment (the UMPC for you website said they were available). I am rather articulate on the phone, so the receptionist thought it was appropriate to interrupt me and let me know that I was wasting her time because they only accept UPMC for You for special needs patients. Then I was promptly hung up on - assuming my disability status was "abled" (guess what it's NOT, I'm just good at talking on the phone after lots and lots of rehearsal). Thank goodness I dodged that bullet. I write this review to warn other disabled and special needs patients, that this place clearly only pretends to care about accessibility for the paycheck. You've been warned."
