PIZZATA PIZZERIA

"This little pizza place is a great spot to grab a pizza to go. There are two tables that seat four each and both were available on my visit. The pizza was excellent. We ordered a plain pizza. It was thin crusted and cooked to perfection where it was crispy and added a great compliment to the sauce and cheese. The fresh basil and the shaved Parmesan was a tasty addition as well! We ordered at the restaurant and the pizza was ready in about 20 minutes. They also have their own line of soda. My kids had black cherry and raved about it. The staff is accommodating and very friendly. It was a delight to eat there. If I lived in Philly this would certainly be my neighborhood pizza joint."

"A definite very high 8.5 pizza. The hot honey was spectacular and I don’t think I can eat pizza the same way again without hot honey. It’s a game changer. The pepperonis were so good! I don’t usually like sausages but with the hot honey, it pairs SO WELL. Just amazing."

"One of the best pizzas I've ever had! My boyfriend and I order the Calabrese practically every week - it's the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and spicy. There are usually a few slices leftover after the two of us eat, so I think the price is well worth it (ends up being ~$9 per serving). Ordering through the Slice app is always a seamless process too. Unfortunately, phone did not eat first this time!"

"Damn good pizza. I’m from NJ. I’ve eaten my fair share of good pizza. This had a great undercarriage. Sauce and cheese ratio perfect. Nice crisp, charred crust. The only thing that’s not my style (but still very good) was the Parmesan on top. It gives the pizza a nice tang but I’m a bit more of a traditionalist. Overall a very good pie and I’m sure the Pres would give it at least a 7.8."
