Tier One Motoring

"I purchased a '23 BRZ and the sound system was less than stellar as stock. I knew I wanted an upgrade, but I wasn't very knowledgeable about car audio. I stopped by Tier 1 Motoring on a Saturday morning and met with Jason to listen to speakers they have available. Jason was fantastic and happy to walk me through the ins and outs of car audio for well over an hour while we listened to different setups. I never felt like he was trying to upsell me, he was just super passionate about car audio and wanted me to understand my options and what goes into a system. After we honed in on speakers at my price point, Jason was super helpful in helping me build a system within my budget that is future ready for further upgrades. We went with the Sony ES 3-way system with an amp and some sound deadening, with the wiring setup making it future ready for a subwoofer, second amp and DSP when it's in my budget to do the rest of the upgrades. The sound quality is such a huge upgrade it's kind of unbelievable. The sound deadening makes a huge difference too. The car still feels like a fun little sports car on the back roads (minimal weight was added), but with the speakers and sound deadening it's such a joy on long road trips cruising (spent 10 hours in it just the other day and loved every minute). The team did a stellar job with the install and I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to go back and do the upgrades. 10/10 would recommend going to these folks for car audio work."

"Install of a replacement head unit / system was super clean. Being a somewhat unique situation of installing a replacement system that had previously been stolen when living out of state, The team at Tier One worked with my insurance company to make sure everything was taken care of behind the scenes. My truck was in and out quickly. I had previously done the install myself and while I know my way around my car and electronics, their work is above and beyond anything I could try. There was some miscommunication around drop off and getting a code for the key locker for the day before install but in the end that was minor compared to the great work done. Would definitely use them in the future for any audio / electronic needs."

"I have a hatchback—a small trunk. I knew the second I replaced the spare tire with a subwoofer; I would get a flat because that's how my life is set up. I walked into Tier One, and I am absolutely coming back to do my speakers. Ron & Jason are my guyyysssss Here's why: 1. They talked me OUT of something that would cost me way more money and took time to explain what a better option would be (saved me probably 1-2k). 2. The quality of the sub is beyond what I expected. 3. They were very communicative and answered all of my questions (I ask many questions). 4. They saw my skull vent clips and threw in a little extra piece without my knowledge - I was blown away! The sub looks OEM, and I still have all my trunk space. Something they didn't know is that I have a condition that causes extreme sensitivity to sensory stimulation. Bass at lower frequencies releases all of the happy chemicals in my brain. I am a mobile crisis worker, so my job can be emotionally & mentally draining. I work 12h shifts, and I drive an hour one way to work, so I spend a lot of time in my car. For me, having bass back in my car means more than just having an excellent subwoofer. They went above and beyond."
