"The choices of handmade items were many, ranging from small Christmas ornaments to beautiful tables and chairs, rocking horses, and even a rocking moose and motorcycle. There was a large selection of jewelry boxes, I purchase them for birthday and graduations. You can find wall art, bird boxes, and, if you don't see what you came for, you can order from a in-house catalog. Don't be surprised if you come away with more than you went in for. The trip is well worth it!"
"I really don't understand why this is posted as a park & farm. The NH State Prison USED TO sell handmade crafts here but not now. Now it is the local office of the Parole Dept. It is where parolees report to on a regular basis with their Parole Officers. I'm sure it used to be a farm & park, but not anymore."
"This place has very unique stuff! Kinda bummed that almost everything is wooden, but everything in this store is beautiful and hand crafted. I was also excited to learn that they do custom orders, so I will definitely be back with the measurements for the backpack I want made!"
"You don't want to visit for more than an hour. And even if your simply walking by you still don't want to make eye contact with the prisoners inside. Basically, prison rules apply as long as you're in eyeshot. So don't ask a pedestrian for the time or you risk getting shanked."
"Probation office and prison inmates working close by. Although the store here has quality craftsmanship and is made by the prisoners."
