"What a terrible office! I want to preface that I was with Westwood Eye Care in MA for 20+ years but having moved to the Dover area a few years ago, I decided to find a local office for convenience. I’ve had glasses since I was 4 so I know how the exams go, etc. I got Dr. Ting at Dover Eye and she couldn’t be anymore monotoned or unenthusiastic to be helping you during the exam. Not a big selection of glasses, either. Two weeks go by and my trial contacts and new frames are in with the updated prescription. You also have to pick up your items in the waiting room…. Really? (Photo attached). I put the glasses on and the lenses are SO THICK. The frames were flat when I looked at them on the display and these ones were rounded due to the “frames”. Really? I wear them for 20mins and knew something was off. It was like she switched my left eye prescription for my right and vice versa. Tried the contacts… same issue. Call them back to a re-examination and she’s like, “oh it looks like I flipped the eyes…” I’m like “that’s what I thought”. Then she took back what she said and said she didn’t mess up! YES YOU DID! Anyways, got a new exam done and she strengthens my prescription. Got the new trial contacts and updated glasses 2 weeks later and they’re still all messed up. After that, I decided to call my old eye doctor 2hrs south of me and they took me two days later and said what Dover Eye gave me was SO off. I got another exam done with Westwood and the prescription is completely different. Dover Eye is a joke. They’re so busy and just treat you like a number. I decided to return the glasses this week and I had to call back after 24hrs because they said they would issue the refund and didn’t. Do yourself a favor.. read the negative reviews and stay away from this office."
