Reviews
"I wanted Dr Daman to be great from the reviews I read, but unfortunately was very disappointed. My first visit with her I discussed my frustration with previous physicians not taking me seriously for possible endometriosis given my pelvic pain, cycles recently changing out of nowhere and have a family history of it. Im 36 and she aaid it was most likely not endometriosis and probably perimenopause. The first time she made an unnecessary comment about all of my other doctors appointments, imaging, labs etc from my chart that I was having done with them to figure out other issues I was having, saying "You have the chart of a 60 year old. What's going on here with these tests?". Does not make someone feel good when they're already going through a lot. I brushed it off and let it slide. She told me my symptoms didn't fit endometriosis when they absolutely did. The second time I saw her i was experiencing severe leg problems but needed an annual exam, so I propped my leg up to avoid pain. She asked me what was going on with my labs, imaging etc again when she pulled up my chart. She kept saying "This is a lot to look at! What am I even looking at here? What is this?". I thought it was very unprofessional and disrespectful. I told her how my pelvic pain was worse and I'd like another ultrasound since 6 months had passed with progressive symptoms. She ordered it then walked out and I didn't even mention my initial reason for the visit because I was upset. I initially had come in for an annual but told her about my pain in case i could find an answer sooner because I was desperate. After she made those unnecessary comments the second time I knew I wasn't coming back. My pcp advised me to get another opinion or see if she will do a laparoscopy. She didn't want to do the laparoscopy so she sent me to a urogynecologist. Luckily the urogynecologist was amazing! She listened to me and said "You have adenomyosis lesions and most of the time people with adenomyosis also have endometriosis, so a laparoscopy would be a good idea." I have since been diagnosed with May Thurner Syndome by an interventional radiologist and will see about a laparoscopy after my stent placement. Don't give up on answers!"
