"I grew up going to Green Acre. I enjoyed going for summer schools, and other conferences. I was young when we stayed here so I don't remember much about the place, however, the feeling of welcome I remember and the love from all the people was ever present. I have been back twice as an adult, to visit the beloved Master's room. It always brings calmness and peace."
"Beautiful school lovely warm people..clean. And great programs for everyone."
"Beautiful and spiritually uplifting - and what amazing history - looking forward to my next visit! In 1890, John Greenleaf Whittier wrote a poem to Sarah Farmer (who owned the property and founded the School) - What shall we bring to her, What shall we sing to her, Of our love a token? What of her worth say Written or spoken? Perchance while these latter days Light up Piscataqua’s Sunsets of glory Some bard of Green-Acre More worth may make her The theme of his story. God’s angel we rank her! If vainly we thank her For all she has given, The years of right living, Of blessing and giving Are counted in Heaven. Of rough life the smoother, Of sorrow the soother, Of trouble the calmer, For blinded eyes seeing God bless her for being Just Sarah J. Farmer!"
"Where the first Peace Flag was put up! Where people of all faiths come together in cooperation and harmony! Staff work hard, rooms are beautiful and timeless and most importantly this will forever be a historic place for the Baha’is. Abdul’Baha himself visited Sarah Farmer here before she passed away."
"Uplifting programs, great fellowship, wonderful food that suits carnivores and vegetarians, very nice property."
