"Very clean, large campground in Maine. Interesting location with nice helpful employees. We were unable to get a spot near the coast, but after walking the property, it did not appear that the spots were technically coastal (it was more marshy inlets). We only stayed for 1 night (paid for two but didn't like our location - too much foot, bicycle, and dog traffic right by our spot)."
"We spent a few nights at Wolfe's Neck earlier this month and it was a great stay! A beautiful location, lots to do, and just super well-kept in general! Before we even got there, I was pleasantly surprised at how great their website is - lots of info about the farm, activities, and an interactive campground map. Every staff member we interacted with throughout our visit was helpful and friendly. The farm store has just about anything you could need plus some local goods. There is self-service firewood that can be billed right to the card used to the card used to book the site. Small cafe right by the farm store has great food and baked goods. The sites are clean and well spaced. Bathrooms are scattered throughout the campground and there is one shower house located by the store. In the mornings, you can see the cows roaming out in the pastures. There are a lot of publicly accessible areas where you can visit the animals or check out the gardens, and the farm hosts a lot of different activities. Kayak and bike rentals are available as well. Overall a great campground in a convenient location just minutes away from all of the attractions in Freeport. It's the type of place that makes for a great stay whether you just need a nice spot to return to after a day of adventuring elsewhere or you want to hang out and explore everything the farm has to offer."
"Not what I imagined from pics. They have an expensive store with their own goods and others. Crazy high prices. Laundry is not great. 2 dryers. 1 functional washer. Really??? For a large RV campground? Sad. They have 4 shower rooms. Wood is $7.50+ for 4 to 5 sticks. There is a café of sorts. If you stay here, be sure to grab a spot on the water. Or at least with view of. Otherwise you are relegated to campgrounds in the woods. Lots of tent campers there. One plus is the sites were really large where we were. All in all, it was a disappointment. But if you are into wild camping with little to no internet and really spotty phone service where you pay a premium for goods and really can't do laundry on site, this is a good place for you. Maybe get a cottage for you and the lids on the water where they can swim in the waters. It is prettier by the water."
"I recently stayed one night at Wolfs Neck with my children. This place reminds me of what camping used to be like before large corporations started buying campgrounds making them into resorts. We had a small grassy oceanfront site. While there were no electricity or water hookups, there was water close by. My kids loved the farm atmosphere and the access to the ocean. While there we biked and visited the farm store. Security was very present in the evening hours. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with soap. My only recommendation is to read the description of your site on the website. Doing so helped me pick a good tenting site. There were some that were small with a lot of roots but the descriptions help you figure out what you are going to get."
"I loved this campsite! My family has been here twice now and we have always gotten a cabin. There is a queen bed, two twin bunk beds, and two twins up in the loft as well. There is a kitchen with an oven and electric stove as well as a toaster, coffee maker, and fridge. All utensils for cooking and grilling are included. Everything was perfectly clean and well kept. The only thing I recommend is bringing your own bedding. The view is amazing and it's only a short walk to the camp store which has all the necessities in case you forgot something. Overall this is a wonderful place!!"
