"My husband and I have stayed here on numerous occasions. We will not be returning after our most recent stay. The gentleman at the front, we can’t say enough good about, but the rest of the staff could do with training in both housekeeping and customer service. My husband and I spoke with the gentleman at the front over the phone about a late check out, as our brake replacement appointment ran late. While packing up our car the female housekeeper decided to take it upon herself to hassle my husband about our late check out and tell us we needed to be charged further. Due to her blatant ignorance and disrespect we will no longer be returning. As for the rooms themselves, they are cleaned very minimally. Our most recent stay was met with dirt marks all over the shower walls and dirt marks all over the floors. Disappointed is an understatement."
"Stayed for three nights due to power outage at home. The room was clean and unremarkable. I ended up going home to sleep in the dark because the bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. The one night I slept at the hotel, there were loud banging noises every 10 minutes which only made it harder to sleep. I would pay more next time to stay at a nicer hotel."
"I'd rate it lower but there are no lower options! We booked this hotel through Choice Hotels. We checked in and immediately had to get out of the room. The odor was offensive. Other rooms had mold on the walls. The rooms were so bad our travel companions slept in their truck! I found another hotel! The front desk cancelled our reservation and was supposed to refund my visa but put the refund to the wrong credit card. I called the hotel after the vacation and was told they would not be refunding my card even though I had a confirmation of cancelation. Visa credit card disputes would not refund the amount because the hotel made an error in the cancelation confirmation they gave me. Stay clear of this place! And Visa was no help so I'm switching to another credit card!"
"Cheapest price we could find just outside of town, which is why we booked. So if you're going for price over quality, this is the place for you. Looks like a typical hotel that you'd see in a movie when someone is trying to stay under the radar. Long overdue for major upgrades. TV in our room was crooked, sink didn't drain properly. Nothing significant, just a few hints that showed the age and quality of upkeep. Not much within walking distance, given that Route 1 has some fast moving traffic."
"Everyone has been nice, but I don't understand why on Wednesday we paid only $10 for a pet fee and then on Thursday we had to pay $20. For this very reason I don't think we'll stay here again, as I prefer the consistency and transparency other hotels offer in room value and fees."
