"Update to review below. I emailed the address referenced by the "responce from owner" two weeks ago with the information they stated.I never received a response. their statement was obviously just for the sake of the people reading reviews and they had no intention of addressing my concern! They are basically liars. I will not order from them again and neither should you. Original review:I ordered a jacket for a family member for Christmas. Instead of receiving the jacket I ordered it was a cardigan sweater in the package with somebody else’s on it. Because of this I was left without a gift for this person for the holiday. I emailed customer service and was told they will ship me out the correct product. I asked them what they would do to make this up for to me. Their answer was nothing. after discussing this with other family members, several others told me the same thing happened to them with L.L. Bean. We will not be ordering any longer."
"Just got off a chat with Kath(rene?) Customer service is awful - I might as well be talking to AI - heck, AI might be better. There's zero ounce of concern, just boilerplate reponses. Used to be the product would last for good long time, now it falls appart and no one cares. I regret recommending LLBean this last christmas to my corporate buyer for work branded attire - jackets and shirts. If the company doesn't stand behind the product, it's time to seek out someone who still does..."
"Very upset with this company. I had a L.L Bean backpack when I was in school and loved it. So I bought one a year ago for my 3 rd grader, who is now a 4th grader and the second week of school the strap breaks on it. My daughter’s teacher was able to make a knot to make the straps stay. I called your company and was told if I sent the backpack back, they would look at it and decide if I was do a refund. I asked how long that would take because my daughter only has one backpack because I wanted to buy the best backpack possible for her which I thought was a New L.L.Bean backpack. They told me 10 to 15 business days. What am I supposed to do in the meantime? I finally made my third attempt to call when the strap completely broke off and my daughters strap is just hanging as she’s getting on the bus which is very dangerous. And was told after being on hold unfortunately ma’am there’s nothing we can do for you so I bought her the same exact backpack so my daughter could be safe to go to school and they’re mailing me the return label to see if I am worthy of a refund all I can say is I’m very disappointed with L.L.Bean and when my four year-old is ready to start kindergarten, I don’t think it will be with an L.L. Bean backpack."
"Visited newly renovated facility. Parking lot was spacious for all types of cars. Building had high ceilings and two floors. The employee desk area seems to be ergonomic design with adjustable high tables. Seats in the cubicles didn’t seem to have many adjustments. The acoustics of the building seems to be good even with large groups of people talking and walking around with no sense of trying to be quiet to conducting business. The structure didn’t seem to have any ambient noise from its large expanse. Enjoyed my tour and got to talk with many employees whom seem to like it there."
"I love Range Pond State Park. That is why I have to say, I do not like the new art display by LLBean. They look like billboards, disrupting my view of the natural beauty the Park provides. These works of art belong in a city setting where they would improve the area rather than degrade it. Nothing against the paintings themselves. They just don't belong in this park."
