"It was ok. It was about 50% Harry Potter/50% Halloween themed. The food was expensive and not all that well done. Only the drinks were Harry Potter themed which was also disappointing (and also expensive, $8 for "butterbeer" aka cream soda with whipped cream and butterscotch.) The performances were like a glorified talent show. I was expecting dinner theater to include a plot and acting. The plot was adequate at best. There was an animated MC who did a decent job and the performances were decent it just wasn't what I was expecting. I would not attend a second time and wouldn't recommend it. One upside was the service. The waitstaff were attentive to our needs and did there best not to interrupt the show. And they heard my complaints about the food and worked to do something about it. The ambience was also nice, the decor was well done and the costumes were on point."

"We went as a large party and the accommodated us nicely. The show was entertaining. The food was quite good. As a family of huge Harry Potter fans it was fun for all. It was a worthwhile experience. Our server was great!"

"The experience was enjoyable to watch and the night was very magical. There was a lot of crowd interaction which spiced up the evening. The gift shop was a nice touch for people who want to buy something to remember the experience. The servers helped and were constantly on top of things. Overall it was a worthwhile experience that every Harry Potter fan should attend."

"Before attending A Perfect Spell I had read some reviews and expected to be disappointed, however, we had a great time! The performances were a bit amateur and it was not the Harry Potter experience I was originally expecting, but having an open-mind we really enjoyed ourselves especially my tween daughters. They loved that their beverages were “smoking” and enjoyed the trivia and the interaction with the performers. It was a small, intimate setting and the staff were very friendly. They now have a liquor license and the liquid luck sangria was yummy. My kids liked their butter beer and poly juice potion also. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their food."

"The Perfect Spell is definitely not perfect, but almost has a campy appeal. The gift shop is fun to browse around and the staff are friendly. We came in a group and had fun sipping from some 'smoking' goblets filled with bubbling sangria. The liquid luck sangria was yummy. The steak tips were tasty, but chewy and overcooked. I recommend getting the blue berry or mocha cheesecake for dessert. A trio of interpretive dancers start off the show with an opening interpretive dancing number that is a bit rough to watch. However, the performances improve as the show progresses. The singer with the acoustic guitar was very good. Overall I would say it was a fun time and you can enjoy it if you overlook the roughness around the edges."
