"I had an older gift card. Went to use it. And was told the new system doesn't accept these anymore... I told the customer service person that in the state of New Hampshire gift cards do not expire..I asked if she could take this one and issue a new one the system would accept. I was told she could not do that.... With that being said I now exclusively will be going to Market Basket. I never really go to Hannaford anymore because it's drastically more expensive than Market Basket. This was just the final straw."

"The 5 stars is for the cashier Tamara who literally gave me a dollar out of her own pocket instead of have me make change for mine. She was so kind and Hannaford should be grateful to have a person like her working for them."

"As of July 2023 the prices are about the same as Walmart. But I don't have to throw my food away because it was already rotten when I bought it. The quality of their food, especially meat is great. I love the customer service throughout the store. Well staffed with a friendly attitude. Very clean store. I love Hannafords and will never go back to Walmart, because with Hannafords I don't have to. Grocery shopping is now a pleasure and I don't even have to pay anymore than I was at horrible Walmart!"

"Lots of options for fresh produce. Well staffed bcse I never have to walk around looking just one person to help. Most of the staff tends to be in good mood and willing to help. They are quite pricey."
