"i would put zero stars if i could. i recently bought $50 worth of giftcards from this store and they did not work. the original manufactuerer makes it extremely difficult to contact support. best buy refuses to refund my money."
"Purchased two items in-store at Watertown location Sunday afternoon with promises of delivery two days later, on Tuesday. Item delivered to incorrect address. Have spent in excess of TWO hours on the phone and on chat trying to resolve. As of right now, more than TWO days after the promised delivery date I still do not have my item, nor do I have an estimated delivery date or resolution to this issue. **In store experience ** was positive. Once I left the store, though, it’s been a horrible, time-consuming, frustrating ordeal. I hope customer service leadership reads this note and takes action to prevent such service issues & poor customer experiences, in the future."
"Their total tech membership and service is a scam. Bought over 12k in appliances from here which includes 2 dryers for our brand new house and one of the dryers has not been working since we received it and they keep saying it’s everything but the dryer when it never even gets hot enough to dry clothes. We have 6 children and have been only able to use one dryer of the 2 since getting them both. The membership includes that if it can’t get fixed, then it will get replaced which they refuse to do. Don’t get the membership or the insurance coverage or even buy appliances from here bc their customer service is TERRIBLE!"
"Very frustrating, buyer be ware. First I purchased online a brand new expensive vacuum. They mailed me an “open box” one that was clearly not new. The cord would not even fit correctly in the base and the instructions were missing. When I called support for help they told me I would have to buy another one and return this one. However my local Best Buy did not have it in stock. Instead my only option was to drive 40 minutes away to another location. I asked if they could hold it for me at customer service she said no. She has no way of communicating with the store and told me to buy a new one then return the old one when I get there. So I did now my funds are tied twice. Take the drive, orders not ready yet but the guy was nice enough to grab it right away. I go to make the exchange, customer service employees were nice made the swap easy. But guess what, I drive 40 minutes back home, open the box and once again a used vacuum! This one was so bad that they the previous owner left dirt in it!!! Terrible job Best Buy selling used items and trying to pass them off as new. And now guess what my only option is again? Order a 3rd one! The only reason why I haven’t returned it and went someone else is because I got it on sale in which other stores offered the same sale at the time but silly me chose Best Buy which now I regret and after all the purchases I made for so many years from them (also this has happened with a computer before too) I now know I can not trust this company any more because they sell used items and try to pass them off as new. If I wanted used I could find one on a local used market place. I came to Best Buy thinking I’d get new. Not the case very disappointed and the customer service you get when you call in is absolutely no help at all."
"We had a super annoy experience yesterday in the store. I assume this store could let you bamboozled if some staff thought your first language is not English. My girlfriend wanted to buy a headphone, when we are trying apple AirPod max, a guy came here and served us, then we expressed our interests for Sony. We planned to get that in back friday, but that guy said he can give us a deal for $70 off. We were happy and got one. But when we read the receipt we found we paid a one year membership WITHOUT his telling! And the total price was the same. When we went back to check this issue, his manager told us we needed to enroll the membership and then we can have the $70 off. But that salesman did tell us this issue, and only said, we can give you guys a $70 off today. It was ridiculous and annoying. We have to return the headphone and call to cancel the membership. The manager was helpful, but the salesman was annoying! We speak fluent English but the mother language user, we didn’t know if this is the reason why he thought we would be easily get bamboozled. We are trying to cancel the annoying membership, but the Best Buy customer service said we didn’t enroll. I did not know if the money is gone black. We will try again. BE AWAY FROM this store!"
