"This place, especially the person who picked the phone up never let me finish a single sentence even though I talked the way he wanted and he kept telling me that he is smart, he worked for this and that as an engineer. I don't care who you are, when you talk, and ask, please allow the customer to answer and talk. You can't threat a customer that you are going to hang up the phone because they need to answer you in a full sentence. If you want the customer to respect you and don't talk over you, please do the same. I don't know how good you are, but the way you treat, talk and always promote yourself like that will drown your business soon."
"I had an informative experience with Audio Proz whilst getting my APT Holman Preamplifier upgraded. Vince has an extensive knowledge of all things sound & circuitry. Take his advice and trust the process. Simple as that."
"The MOMENT Vince picked up the phone, he was off-the-charts aggressive. Immediately started telling me that he's been in the business for 40+ years, and how all the other people doing this gave up, and he's very busy. Mind you, at this point I had said "Hello, I'm hoping you can help me" and absolutely nothing else. Before he asked me any questions about the issue I was calling about, he warned me that people often get upset with him because he asks "a lot of weird questions", but promised me he needed to know. Then, he proceeded to not let me answer a single one of his questions. I would get out a syllable or two and he would steamroll over me, tell me I didn't know what I was talking about and had no idea what product I had. I asked him if he wanted to hear the details or if he just wanted to keep bragging about being in this business for over 40 years (seriously, he would not stop bringing that up). He said "Well, the details you've given me don't make any sense!" Of course, I hadn't shared anything with him that wasn't immediately interrupted and dismissed. There weren't any details to make sense of yet, because I had not finished a SINGLE sentence. The entire conversation (if you can call it that) was him condescending to me about how much he knew about this business and how busy he was. Then, when I sternly asked if he would let me actually tell him what the problem was, he said "I'm just asking you questions because I need to know. Unless you think you know better!" I don't pretend to know much about record players, but I do know that if you want to call yourself a professional and offer a service, you need to actually let your potential customers explain what they need fixed. Vince, I don't know if you read these reviews, but if you do: I promise absolutely nobody is upset with you for asking questions. They're upset with you for asking questions, then refusing to let them answer, and THEN getting pissy with them for not giving you the details YOU are clearly preventing them from providing. I never got to explain that my brother's record player works fine, but the wooden panel on the bottom is coming apart. It's purely a cosmetic issue. I still have no idea if this is something AudioProz can help with, because Vince said he was too busy to deal with me and then hung up. There are many reviews both on Google and Yelp from people who had the exact same experience as I did. I have no clue how this guy is in business. I cannot speak to his skill, but how can you gain new clients if you won't let them tell you what they need done?"
"Owner Vince's conduct was off-the-charts rude and arrogant when I called to request service. There may not be many good repair shops in the game, but I need to move on, because I'm not willing to let him vent his particularly nasty pile of attitude on me. Sorry for whatever happened in his life to make him so hostile."
"Everything that’s wrong with audiophiles in one person - I would have liked to work with this guy, but his general demeanor made it impossible. He called me up about my repair request and immediately asked me to take “notes”. Then he continued to „educate“ me on audio tubes for about 12 minutes and immediately interrupted me whenever I tried to get a word in. Mind you, my repair request was about a humming transformer, but he was going on about how I needed to let him put in the perfect tubes during the repair because he is apparently the only person on Earth that can pick the right the tubes to match the amp. He then rambled on about various harmonics and historic gear and Telefunken tubes and who he has worked with in the past etc. pp. all while interrupting me immediately whenever I tried to say something. And when he did ask me a question, he would only accept yes or no as an answer, can you believe that? If he would have let me talk, I could have told him that I had a work call coming up. So instead, I just hung up on him. Of all the people in the world that are completely full of themselves, this guy has to be in the top ten. I don’t care how good you are at your job, this is not how you treat potential customers or any other people in general."
