"I went recently for an engine check and a complementary detailing. Hugor and team did really a great job with timely updates, paper work and taking care of my vehicle. Recent organizational changes at the service front desk helps and facilitates a lot with drop off/pick up. A minor recommendation would be to have loaner cars cleaned up before handing over to customers but otherwise everything else was good. Thank you-"
"I had a head-gasket issue/oil leak that they were able to fix fairly quickly. They probably would have gotten it back to me much faster, but they detailed my car to a showroom standard. The mechanic did a great job showing me the overall inspection under the car (through a video) and despite the work being covered under warranty, they treated me just like any other paying customer."
"The entire Service Department is excellent. The 2007 hardtop convertible coup still runs great, as do the other 2 BMSs (2011; 2016) that obtain service here. I have never had any problem with the maintenance or repair work done over the years. Matt, James, and Higor are knowledgeable and they are a pleasure to work with. They know my cars, they know me, and I trust them."
"Tech was supposed to remove the tune that was in the car and bring back to stock. They “perform” the job and give me the car back saying that it was all clear. I drove over 300 miles and went to do state inspection and got rejected because the car still had previous tune. Went back to bmw dealer complaining for a job not done on 09/02/23 and they just park my car outside the building for 3 weeks without nobody touch the car to fix the problem. I’ve trying to call many times nobody wanna talk to me about my issue or not even the status of the car. I got tired of wait for nothing and went back to the dealer personally to see what’s going on and they just make a lot of excuse condemning a part that was not the problem. I took out my car from there and ask for my money back and I had my problem fixed by a different shop on next day without changing any part that they told me to change. I’m really disappointed with BWM service specially with the advisor Joel Colon for not giving me any status of my car."
"Unfortunately I don’t have anything good to say about about Herb Chambers BMW of Boston (HB). I purchased a 2016 KIA Optima in April that I was assured that it was “completely checked out.” There was even a sticker that said the battery, brakes, and oil were checked. Within six hours, the battery went dead. I called HB but ultimately had to call AAA to install a new battery. The battery that was supposedly checked was down to 8% (no, I didn’t leave the lights on!). Also, and though I paid for it, the car was never inspected. I was told that the car’s computer needed to “reset itself.first”. Additionally I had dash board lights showing one of which was the air bag issue. I sent this information to HB who never responded. When I took my car to have it inspected it failed because of the air bag dashboard light. I called HB again they never responded. I took the car to another to another KIA Dealer who told me they would to run a diagnostic which would cost $800 which did not include the cost of any repairs. I immediately called and emailed HB and explained the problem. I never received a call back. Now my warranty was up on the car.has past and I’m faced with a large bill, and the car still won’t pass an inspection. I wanted them to take the car back and fix all the problems they didn’t correct in the safety check, and give me a loaner. I In short, the service from HB has been non existent.
