"Cute store! The clothes are mostly very cute and come in a variety of different sizes. The staff were very nice and understanding. Prices are quite high, but they are all designer/brand name clothing, so it makes sense. One bad thing: I tried on a jacket there, and as it is resale, it had been worn before. There was a dirty mask in the pocket of the coat. I gave it to the woman at the front counter and she apologized and threw it away. Not a huge deal, but I think they should make sure that their clothes are clean and they don’t have stuff in the pockets before they put it out to be sold."

"Nice atmosphere, service, and selection of good quality used clothing. And yes, THEY DO SELL MEN’S CLOTHING! I have been walking by the Freeport location for three years thinking it was a women’s clothing store. Window display is all women’s. Five stars if they present themselves as a men’s store too."

"The clothing and shoe selection is great and the store is very clean; however, the customer service is quite sub-par. I live locally and would not recommend this store to anyone. I’ve gone into Haberdashery Resale a handful of times now and have never once been greeted by a worker—nor have I been asked how my shopping is going or how my shopping was (at checkout). This does not create a welcoming and comfortable environment for a shopper. Moreover, I purchased a sweater for $80 from here and, the first time I wore it, I noticed there was a hole in the armpit. Over the course of the day, the sweater ripped completely down the seam of the arm. I returned to Haberdashery Resale wondering if they would do anything about it, as it was an expensive purchase and there was obviously a defect. The woman working said she had to ask her boss and they would get back to me. They never got back to me. It took me going back into the store get an answer, and they responded saying there was nothing they could do about it—not refund me my money, or give me store credit or anything. She was very short with me and didn’t offer any sympathy or apologies for the situation. As much as I’d love to support this store, their blatant lack of customer service makes shopping there such an unpleasant experience that I cannot recommend it."

"This shop, and it's sister store in Portland, are easily my favorite places to shop for clothing. I love that it's resale because it's better for the environment, and I get really nice high quality pieces at really affordable prices. I'd say 80% of my closet, safely, is from here. I cannot recommend them highly enough!"
